Went during Happy Hour, and it was so enjoyable! The prices were even better! Called a couple of friends to join us at the last minute. Chile is such a great bartender, and we met the owner too. She was so pleasant and easy to talk to. Got the poke nachos, yucca fries and the wings. So delish! And the bartender even got creative on the drinks. Might be out new hang out spot!

Holy cow! Rubirosa hit it out of the park! Quite possibly the best restaurant in New Paltz! My family and I enjoyed every single bite we had! We started with the fig and ricotta flat bread and we knew it was going to be amazing and we were right! The twin filet’s we’re scrumptious. The crispy skin salmon you ask? Unbelievably delicious. My kiddos Mac and cheese was mind blowing in how flavorful it was. The atmosphere is great and decor is very nice and perhaps more important every surface was sparkling clean! We will absolutely be back! To eat our way through the rest of the Rubirosa Menu!

Great little spot perfectly located in New Paltz with plenty of parking. The food is fantastic and I’m hell bent on trying every item on the menu. For starters, you gotta try the Mission Figs Flat Bread (you’ll thank me later) but it’s certainly not the only appetizer worth having. From salads to main courses, the portion size is on point. And with a fully stocked bar and creative list of cocktails, you’ll be asking for seconds or thirds to quench your thirst.

Quaint space, good service, great food! I went on a Friday night before watching a movie. I took a seat at the bar which I felt was a little tall but otherwise not bad. The chairs were comfortable. The service was decent, everything was timely and expedient. I had two beers and the special burger. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Well worth the price and the drive. I would love to go back sometime and try more delicious food.

So excited this restaurant is finally open. We spent the evening talking with the partners including the chef and they were all so accommodating and made the experience warm and inviting. The food was great as were the drinks. We had the brined pork chop and the chicken which both displayed their fusion approach to food. The Malaga or taro root was amazing as were the yucca fries! Check it out! Can’t wait to go back!

Great atmosphere, great service, delicious food…beautiful place for photos too . I had the filet mignon with the jasmine rice and it was exquisite. I forgot the name of the cocktail but it has passion fruit and it was also delicious and strong . The owner Ingrid was very welcoming and attentive. New Paltz people are very lucky to have this fantastic spot.

My first experience with this restaurant was a couple months back, we thought the food and drinks sounded amazing so we had a girls night there. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and salads to share, as well as a couple cocktails each. The Thai butternut squash soup was bland and the drinks were just ok. The servers were kind but were probably overwhelmed with the space filling.
