Rubio’s Coastal Grill is one of my go-to spots! I’m a huge fan of their Taco Tuesday deals — the tacos are always fresh, flavorful, and a great value. The ingredients taste super high-quality, and everything comes out fast without feeling “fast food.”
The Shrimp Trio Special is another favorite of mine — it’s a perfect mix of textures and flavors, and the shrimp is consistently cooked just right. Whether I’m grabbing a quick lunch or an easy dinner, Rubio’s never disappoints. Highly recommend if you’re craving something fresh and satisfying!

First time trying this place yesterday. I tried their apparently new Pina Colada Churro and was a massive mistake. Coming here was a massive mistake actually. I dined in. I asked about both items I ordered, to the woman at the front. For reference to the manager, she was overweight with glasses. Gave me the worst explanation possible for 2 questions about a salad and those Churros. She said “it has coconut and pineapple”. So I go, “okay so that white stuff if frosting?”. She said yeah. I ordered it.
I waited almost an hour for a salad and a Churro. I was brought a churro wrapped in paper with a size cup sitting on my salad that I almost poured onto it, not knowing it was for the churro. I inspected the bubbly liquid and realized there was a tiny bit of coconut in it so I stopped in my tracks right before pouring. I was confused but I dipped the churro in the white bubbly liquid. It was a cup of spoiled milk. I tried it again and again to make sure I was really consuming what I was. Sharp to the tongue and rotten as could be.
I then waited for the ogre-like woman to find the time to find the time to address me at the counter as there were a few people in line. I waited for five minutes and finally waved her down and said “hey, just so you know, this is just a cup of spoiled milk”. She said “spoiled milk?” I said “yeah, its just bubbly rotten liquid and I just wanted to make sure to let you know.” She said “throw it away” and walked off. Never mentioned it to the cooks. Never checked on it. Never apologized. Nothing. I always tip too. This is why I shouldn’t at counter ordering places like this.
Salad was okay. Hard to trust and eat it after that but I didn’t want to toss my money in the trash and the woman clearly wasn’t going to help. I woke up today with quite the stomach ache. I will never be back. If you are reading this. Stay away.

Never been disgusted in a rubios before. Soon as you come in you’re greeted by funny/attitude looks. Then they get my ordered wrong, had to go get the right side. My food looks so disgusting. Refried beans is watery and tacos are made sloppy. They don’t wear gloves and hair nets. By far the worst one I been to they seem to be dirty and unsanitary

DO NOT GET DELIVERY! Paid $14 for a chicken bowl with literally 4 pieces of chicken.. no joke.. 4 bite size cubes of chicken. No salsa on the side. No fork, no napkins. They also have no clue how to roll a burrito. My wifes burritos was fatter than it was long.

Melanie is the best! She ran the entire FoH like it was nothing. She was fast and everything she did was to help a guest as quickly as possible.
The fish tacos are incredible. I get at least one every time I come.
The patio chairs were nice and sturdy. They were wide, but they do have arms. FYI
The street corn is good. However, it’s an Americanized version.

My friend and I tried the mango super bowl – it was good but at $14 per person with the shrimp option is a bit pricy. Shrimp was cooked well and I liked that it was not a heavy meal with the half rice and half quinoa option.
I usually get their coastal trio – three tacos, two fish and one shrimp. There is a special on Tuesday when it’s only $7 for the coastal trio – Taco Tuesday!
