New place with much potential. Ordered Whiting dinner with collards & yams. Very tasty sides and would order again. Sides were hot and, again, very tasty. They get 5 stars. The fish is not so good. The fried fish was room temperature. I’m sure the fish would have been more tasty if it were hot. Eating in might be best but should not be necessary. Keep up the good work. This family business has much potential.

Well…I visited for the 1st time today. When walking in (shortly after opening) I was received very nonchalantly and with no enthusiasm…almost like I was interrupting something! This alone made me consider just walking out – because I don’t tolerate this type of reception when I’m patronizing a business…but because the young ladies looked like me, I decided to look past this.

Service- When placing my order I was told that it would be ready in 15 minutes. After 40 minutes of waiting I was informed that the fish made for my order was too small and a new batch was being made. When I asked how much longer the server asked me if I was in a rush. (Blank Stare) Then proceeded to tell me there would be an additional 5 minute wait (which ended being another 15 minutes). There was no sorry for wait. No type of compensation for my time.

The second time we ordered the food from Roy’s an hour before closing. The food was on point! Everything was tasty and this time they had collard greens which were very flavorful! Fish, potato salad and peach cobbler…yummy, yummy. Keep up the good work!

I ordered two dinners, Shrimp, Fish and a side of chicken wings. Nothing was hot. Everything was one knotch above room temperature. Fish & Shrimp was seasoned well. Cooking texture was ok. Sides were fast food quality. While this was my first time, I will not try it again.
