Just had dinner here and it was fantastic! We really enjoyed the saag paneer and the vindaloo chicken. Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean, and I would recommend! Great to have some variety in town. We’ll be back.

I have been a loyal customer to this restaurant for quite some time now. I am putting my review as a 1 star due to their lack of customer service. Do not get me wrong, their food is usually quite good. The issue is that when they did happen to make my meal wrong, (it’s the night before Thanksgiving, I do take that into consideration) I called to ask if I could at least get a credit in the future for 1 of the meals due to them messing up ALL the meals (in which he knew bc he asked for the order and said those were made wrong before I explained about them). They asked if I wanted to have 2 meals remade, and when I told them “No, just 1 is fine, and that considering they’re a 45 min drive away, a credit instead would be more convenient.” We purchase from there about once a month, sometimes more, he said “No, you already got your food.” And then hung up on me. I’m saddened and shocked that this is the experience that I encountered today, but after this, I will not return due to the lack of communication and service that I received. I highly recommend to others to not order on a holiday or night before, or when they may have a rush as they’re capability of quality and service is impacted. I am sure many others had a similar experience as not only were they wrong meals, the portion of meats were cut in half (assuming to make up for time when not enough food is available at the moment, which I did not complain about to them). But besides my experience tonight, I have always had good food and service. I am just very upset about the quality and customer service that I recieved today, which made a crucial impact and imprint on how I view them now.

This place was such a treat. Try the Sassy Lassi (delicious cocktail). We had a vegetarian platter to start, and a range of chicken and lamb entrees. All were fresh and flavorful – really fantastic cuisine. The owner was so friendly and thrilled that we liked his food. The interior is not fancy by any means, but I can’t think of any complaints. A hidden gem in Troy, we will absolutely return!!!

I do a lot of traveling and always look for new Indian restaurants to try. The food in Royal Spice was so delicious, one of the best I’ve had. Everything we’ve ordered was very good, the service was excellent and good prices. It’s about 10 minutes from downtown Keene, so it’s an excellent option for those who are in town and like Indian food. We’re definitely coming back.

We took a small detour from our long drive to come here today. This was truly some of the best Indian food we’ve ever had! Everything is clearly made with love and extremely flavorful! I’m not sure the name of who took care of us today, but he was a kind, wonderful man! I wish we weren’t so far away so we could come regularly. We had the best time and will absolutely be coming back!! Thank you for everything!

You go here for the food and service, not the atmosphere..its a simple place. Food is very very good. Great Indian food in an unexpected place. Worth the extra drive. I have never been disappointed as they make sure you are happy with everything…that kind of place. I will be going back again soon. It can get crowded, so pick a good time to avoid crowd.

First homemade lassi I’ve had from a restaurant in a long time. Husband said the naan is the best he’s had since being stationed in Afghanistan. Owner is wicked friendly! This restaurant isn’t nearby for me, but I’ll be going out of my way to come periodically from now on!

Very tasty food and lovely owner. He took our orders, delivered our food, and checked on us during dinner. The curries are flavorful with the right amount of spice at medium, and it was a surprise the dishes came with rice without needing to order it extra.

“We had a delightful lunch at Royal Spice. The samosas, naan, lamb vindaloo, and beef chettinad were all prepared beautifully and full of flavour. The staff extended warm hospitality and made us feel very comfortable. The atmosphere was homey, and the music added charm to the meal. Altogether, it was a very satisfying experience, and I would be glad to recommend it.”
