Now, the food! Everything was absolutely delicious. The fried idli was bursting with flavor, and the aroma dosa literally melted in my mouth. The chole bhature served with chickpeas, was divine. Each dish was incredibly fresh, with aromatic spices that made every bite a delight. The masala lemonade was a refreshing touch to complement the meal.
Honestly, every dish was spot-on, and the quality of food really stood out. 10/10, no complaints at all! Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be back. Really highly appreciate it!!!
there’s convenient parking at the back, making it super easy to get to!
Menduvada tasted bitter like it was fried in old overly used oil.
Mysore dosa was extremely extremely spicy. Upon giving the feedback, I was told thats normal. Being a dosa lover myself ITS ABNORMALLY HOT. Paubhaji dosa was decent ngl.
The server never even apologized for this once.
I finally found the authentic dosa taste I’ve been searching for. If you’re craving Indian food in Niagara, this place is perfect to satisfy your taste buds. They have every option, including Jain dosa and Swaminarayan dosa. The ambiance is cozy, though it can get a bit noisy when it’s full. The staff is incredibly friendly and cooperative. This might be a new spot, so let’s support this business and help it grow. There are very few places that offer the taste you love like this one does. Limited spots for parking but it’s free.
My family and I visited this restaurant last week, and while the food was passable, the billing process was an absolute nightmare. The server didn’t even bother to present our bill; instead, she just asked if I was paying with credit or debit. After I confirmed credit, she handed me the payment machine with a charge of $108. However, after I paid, my card was actually charged $111.
I immediately asked for an itemized bill, but she only gave me the payment receipt. It wasn’t until I insisted on seeing the detailed breakdown that she finally went to her POS system and printed it. To my shock, the actual bill was $98, and with taxes, it came to $105. When I asked why I was charged $111, she casually informed me that the extra amount was for credit card fees.
This was infuriating! There was absolutely no mention of these fees beforehand, nor were there any signs posted anywhere to inform customers. To spring a 5% credit card fee on someone without warning is nothing short of a rip-off. It’s predatory business practice, and it’s no wonder the place was practically empty when we were there.
The service was also incredibly slow, and despite my usual practice of tipping in cash, this experience left such a sour taste that I didn’t feel she deserved a tip. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this establishment; their business practices are incredibly fishy, and they clearly prioritize squeezing extra money out of customers over transparency and good service.
