The staff were extremely kind and patient with us, the decor is lively and immersive, and the food tastes divine. The meat pies sold here are extremely fluffy and rich, and the menu is really healthy while tasting good! The food is so good I got through half of my meal before remembering to take a picture.

Really superb Ghanaian resto. We had chicken waakye and kelewele. The waakye was rice, beans, peanuts cooked with dried sorghum leaves and it is perfect with their red sauce. Kelewele is plantain chunks rolled in spices then deep fried. It’s as good as it sounds. Very nice people, great African vibe, right next to LAX on Century. Massive servings.

Absolutely delicious!! We’re visiting the area and decided to stop here for a meal and I’m so glad we did! The waakye is flavor packed. The goat meat was tender and delicious.. The shito has a nice hot kick to it.. TZ was also on point!

My first time here I was in the area so why not. I have to say the food was authentic, flavorful and plentiful. Both Jane and Beatrice were inviting and professional. Wouldn’t mind visiting again when in town.
Thank You

Came again on 10/31/2024

Clean establishment, fair prices, quality food, good portions and attentive staff. I personally could have used more spice in my soup. But I understand they accommodate to the multitude.

The atmosphere was really amazing and welcoming the very moment I got there,

Aside the fact that the food(jollof) I ordered took a bit longer than I expected the wait was definitely worth it. Definitely a an amazing place to experience

Meat and fish smelled stale and rotten! Bought food worth $56 and even tipped 15% and food ended up tasting super bad and tasteless! Never going back there to spend my money! No wonder there was nobody in the restaurant. If I could give them no star I would have gladly done so!

I would give five start 1million times. It’s my first time having African cuisine, and the owner is nothing short of amazing.
They carry integrity very well, and the prices are damn reasonable. I drove all the way from Lancaster and it was definitely worth the drive. I tried the okra soup with goat mean, and omg!! Omg!!! Amazing.
Thanks so much for not making me feel crazy for not understanding the history of African cuisine, I can’t make this up, and they definitely needs more exposure, more blessing to your buisness.

GHANA
Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles:
The roads leading away from LAX and into Inglewood are probably the easiest place in Greater Los Angeles to size up the jollof wars between Nigeria and Ghana that will forever rage around the world with the diaspora. There are quite a few Nigerian options but only one with Ghanaian chefs, just east of LAX and the 405 on Century Blvd.

If you are traveling light, you can skip the wait for a ride home and just venture over on foot, satisfying hunger pangs over bowls of spicy soup and plates of jollof rice (once dining in is happening again, of course).
