A cute place with awesome views of the ocean and of Springmaid Pier. I ordered a Cobb salad with grilled shrimp. The grilled shrimp was delicious, but the salad was missing the avocado that was mentioned in the menu description. Lots of grape tomatoes and crisp green lettuce, & crumbled delicious bacon among other things on the salad. My husband ordered a crab basket, but he was given the crab sandwich instead so we had to ask the server to bring out coleslaw and hush puppies later. Coleslaw & hush puppies were good. At first, he was confused because our server did bring a crab cake out, but it was on a bun, but there were french fries on the plate which were good, but a tad too salty. My husband thought maybe he read the menu wrong. The server Jennifer was very easy going about making the correction. She had a great attitude. Very friendly. My husband said the crab cake was just okay. We might try Southern Tide again and order different menu items. When looking at the reviews it seems that some people really liked the fish tacos.

We stumbled upon this little gem while strolling the beach. Went inside for a drink and a bite. It doesn’t look like much, but service is everything! We shared shrimp and fish tacos, which were good. And we met Jeff!! Jeff normally works at the inside bar, but lucky for us he was at the pier this night. He was so friendly and attentive. And he gave us great suggestions for things to do while in town. We made a special trip into the lobby bar just to see him again before we went home.

Jennifer is amazing! It’s like she could run the whole front of house by herself. Drinks were perfect. We went in for drinks, then came back the next day for the same drink, and it tasted just like it did the first day. She definitely knows what she’s doing. We had a small special request on our food too and the kitchen was great at accommodating us. 🙂

We were walking the beach in the morning and found this place and decided to give it a try (we were hungry).
The staff was amazing! Friendly and accommodating!! I can’t say enough good things about the service.
The food was fine. It wasn’t anything amazing, but it came out quickly, was hot, and wasn’t overpriced (considering everywhere else that’s oceanfront is overpriced). I had eggs (cooked perfectly over easy), hashbrowns, and sausage patties.
The ultimate Bloody Mary was absolutely delicious!! We would love to come back the next time we’re in Myrtle.

My friend and I came here in July and had the best service ever from Zack he was so cute and makes the finest drinks! Just don’t ask him to dance LOL. Food was better then expected and the view is breathtaking.

We had the Fish Tacos and Crab Cake Sammy. The tacos had very large pieces of fish that had a great batter on them. Crab Cake could have been a little bigger and had more crab meat for how much it cost.

We actually stumbled upon this place and found it refreshing. Had the best fried oysters and fries. It’s a full bar so have at it. I had the jalapeño margarita and my wife had a rum bucket fruity drink. Delicious. Bartender was friendly and helpful on drink selection. Absolutely perfect view of the ocean. It’s a low key place and that’s what we like.
