Recently my wife and I stopped in to eat a few slices. We orders two 20 oz bottles sodas that were unfortunately not very cold (guessing they just restocked the case)
I let the girl at the register know that the 2 bottles of soda I just purchased were not cold and asked for 2 cups of ice. She told me she would need to charge me the full price of 2 fountain drinks, so $6 total for ice. She offered an alternative, and presented me with 2 plastic cups about 3 ounces each, and said I can give you these for free.
I’m sure this young lady was following her managers rules, she was pleasant, but man what a weird interaction and honestly, really petty. A lot of great pizza in this area, I suggest you treat your customers a bit better.
In my attached photo, the larger slice on the right (artichoke), is smaller than your average slice found in this area, while the other slice on the left (white slice) was tiny. This is a standard size plate, and 2 slices from most places over hang the plate by a wide margin.
Their signature and arugula pizzas are incredible
Highly recommended!
The 17” signature pizza was really good! Wish it was in the oven for a bit longer.. 8.5/10
Buffalo chicken wrap was ok 6/10
Jalapeño poppers were ok 5/10
The buffalo wings was a no go.. most are pinky sized and dry.. since its so small i guess it gets over fried easily 2/10
Stick to the pizza!
They serve some VERY flavorful pizza slices that are amongst the thinnest I’ve ever eaten without being rubbery, biscuit or like a cracker (think Pieology) but a perfect base that stays to the side of the experience allowing the sauce and toppings to dominate the taste spectrum.
The best experience is their Signature gourmet pizza which is just fantastic and aptly named.
The Grandma slice (which is their variation on the range) was a let down – too bready (ironically) and lacked its defining flavor.
Although I also tried the white pizza slice, I’m not a fan of it and so not qualified to judge it.
Update: My wife got a slice of it and absolutely loved it. She loved the strong pesto flavour on the slice considering it was a mild white base.
If you’re in Marlboro or passing through, put the Signature slice on your list.
