I ordered egg foo young. Got sweet and sour sauce with it instead of brown sauce. Wife ordered cashew chicken. Chicken and the vegetables were not cooked thoroughly. Included in our order (which we did not order) was a side of crab Rangoon. Not exactly confidence inspiring. Better Chinese take outs available.

I went to China Chef for one of their “specials,” the fried chicken wings & pork fried rice. Chicken wings were very overcooked & possibly in bad oil because not only were they hard, the skin tasted horrible. The rice was all clumped together and smushy. I ordered a shrimp egg roll (which I was thinking I would eat instead of the chicken which I tasted first) & guess what — NO SHRIMP I hate leaving negative reviews but my friend said that unfortunately, they had a similar experience a few weeks prior. I shouldn’t have ignored the low rating just because my usual place was closed.

The food is good when they make it properly. They tend to overcook the rice. Wings until I told them I would wait sl they could make them extra crispy they would be half cooked at times.

In the past this is the 1st Chinese restaurant I recommended to my friends. I hadn’t been there for a while. After my recent visit I will never go back. I ordered Chinese vegetables in brown sauce and an egg roll. This was by far the WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had. The vegetables consisted of raw broccoli, a few huge slices of onion and 1 snow pea. There were sparse globs of jelly like substance on the vegetables and didn’t have anything resembling a sauce. The egg roll is just indescribable. I took a bite, spit it out and everything went straight in the garbage.
