I went with my family to Rotisserie in Burlington, and I won’t ever be back. The entrees are sizable and worth the price, just as long as they’re cooked well. I ordered the chicken marsala, which looked great and smelled wonderful, but the chicken was overcooked and dry. My daughter ordered the nachos and she did her customization for toppings based on what the menu included. To everyone’s surprise, the nachos came out loaded with things she would have opted out of had she seen it in the description on the menu. Neither of us ate what we ordered, mine being cooked improperly and hers having ingredients she doesnt like to eat (she’s 10). Once I addressed this with the waitress, she quickly became rude, and came back without a solution that was appeasing. I requested to speak with the manager (very Karen of me, I know). I explained to him everything that I stated above, but he only offered to take the nachos off the bill and 10 dollars off my entrée. The chicken marsala was 21 dollars and change, and I ate only a few bites before I realized there was no portion of the meal I was going to enjoy eating, not based on taste preference, but solely on how it was cooked. Something to keep in mind is that the chef is also the manager of this establishment. Also, pictured is a framed picture on the wall with an extensive amount of times worth of dust caked onto it. The table I sat at was clean. The bar area seemed nice. If you want to spend around 20 dollars for a meal, I’d bring your money elsewhere.

This was our first time dining at Rotisserie Chicken. It didn’t disappoint! Our server Kate, is an exceptional serve! Kate is an asset to the restaurant and definitely should be a manager! The food was outstanding! My husband had prime rib and it was cooked perfectly. My son had a burger and he enjoyed it. I had the turkey dinner and it was outstanding! The portions are huge! Our son is attending UVM and we will definitely be back!

My husband and I tried this place by chance and have been back twice since our first time less than a year ago. Each time we try something new and each time have had an amazing meal, with large portions. The staff have been friendly, helpful and on point as well. I would have given this place for stars except for our last visit the lady behind the bar said she’d be right over to take our order and didn’t come over for 15 minutes and during that period of time she was actually changing the little cards at the table that said specials for the night instead of coming over and asking us for at least a drink order. I feel we didn’t get good service during the entire meal although the meal was good. When we went to get a check in a box for a leftover food she said she’d be right over again and I had to go up in 10 minutes and ask her once again for a box and our check. Definitely not a good waitress I wrote on my check that she would have gotten three times the table that I gave her and I did give her 20%.

There is nothing contemporary or trendy about the decor inside, nor the outside of the building. The food and service were both very good. The steak frites meal was very good. The bacon wrapped steak was thick, flavorful and cooked exactly to order. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The prices were very reasonable – $22.00 for steak frites. I didn’t see any entrees that exceeded $30. Sandwiches with fries were in the $15 range. I would gladly return to try some of their other entrees.

Such an underrated place to eat. I’ve been there a few times now. Doesn’t disappoint. Menu is varied. Not even close to trying everything.
Just had breakfast. Couldn’t finish my meal…and I’m not a small man. $34.00 plus tip for the 2 of us. Gave the waitress $10. She was so nice. Heard her tell the people next to us the biscuits are fresh from the oven just because they ordered some. The kitchen could have said no, but they just got on it, and made it happen. You just don’t see that anymore.

Had brunch on a Sunday at opening. It wasn’t crowded and I was seated quickly. The service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the crabcake Benedict and a couple sides. The portions were large and prices were very reasonable. The food was ok, no complaints, it was what I was expecting. Overall it was a decent experience and I would recommend brunch here for anyone looking for a hearty meal at an affordable price.

I didn’t stay to eat so I can’t speak about the food. You walk in and see there’s a small dive lounge where most of the business is. Waiting at the hoststand there is one super drunk waitress on her phone that ignores us for 5 minutes. After she stumbles her way to show us a table , it’s clear that it’s time to leave as the place is run down outdated and dirty. We left.

This restaurant has been a staple for decades in South Burlington. I went with the 12oz Prime Rib (I don’t believe it was only 12oz) with Corn on the cob and rice pilaf. The Prime Rib and corn were to die for. The rice pilaf was terrible. I highly recommend. The prices, food and service were excellent
