Rosie’s Place

“Who’s Rosie?” That’s usually the first question people ask us. It’s often followed by: “Why is her food so gosh-darned good?” The first question is easy to answer. Rosie was the grandmother of Debbi Bourgerie, who owns Rosie’s with her husband, Michael. The restaurant is named in her honor. That second question is a little more complicated. Maybe it’s because we make just about everything—our baked goods, breads, dressings, soups—from scratch. Or maybe it runs in the family. Debbi’s dad was a successful St. Louis restaurateur, and many of her crowd-pleasing recipes go back generations. Whatever it is, it works. When the first Rosie’s Place opened in Noblesville in 2010, it was an instant hit among locals. Even non-locals began making

Baked goods, breakfast & lunch made from seasonal ingredients & served in a smart cafe space.

I’ve been to most of the local Rosie’s restaurants and this one might be my favorite location. It’s right on the main historic square in Noblesville and the space itself has a real throwback feel to it. While it’s a bit small, we were able to be seated after only a few minutes on a busy Saturday afternoon. You can get on the wait list remotely from your phone, so I recommend doing that during busy times. The menu is full of classic American breakfast and lunch food. I got the turkey Reuben and sweet potato fries and both were great! Service was friendly and relatively quick considering how busy it was. Definitely stop by here for your next breakfast or lunch!

We really enjoyed our visit to Rosie’s. Our server, Melissa was excellent! She was very efficient, pleasant and quick! The Bloody Mary’s were very flavorful. The potatoes were delicious and seasoned well. Hubby had the Spicy biscuits and gravy and he loved them. The only thing we didn’t really enjoy was the French toast as it was dry for my taste. We heard there is usually a long wait so we joined the waitlist online. Total wait time was probably 45 minutes.

Their mimosas were fantastic. Food was just a little more $ but worth the price. When I came they were pretty busy.

The internet showed Rosie’s as a top breakfast place and so we tried it out. It was very crowded on a Saturday morning. We did get it in fairly quickly. The food was delicious, the waitress friendly, and my coffee cup was never empty. While I didn’t try any of the baked goods they look amazing. Check out the video I took.

Went for Lunch on Sunday, the receptionist was rude. Once seated service was good and food delivered promptly. However the Ruben I ordered was not edible, Corned beef was to tough to chew and couldn’t find any cheese and the only dressing was a smattering of coleslaw – absolutely the worst Ruben I have ever been served. Waitstaff told mngr and they said I could order something else. Ordered a French dip. By all appearances this was a good sandwich but after 1 bites I was chewing on PAPER – took the rest home and sure enough they had left cheese or roast beef paper in the sandwich. Wife bought bakery goods when we left (supposedly their specialty) four brownie type 2 in squared (pecan and something else) and one of their special cinnamon roles. $22! Brownie stuff was real goo but eh cinnamon roll was so hard you could barely cut through it – tasty but tough. Way overpriced!

Sitting in downtown Noblesville on the main strip sits a breakfast spot that I would drive to daily from Greenwood to have breakfast.

We had a very large party of kids and adults that ate here. The service was tremendous for the size of our group. The food matched the service and we got both breakfast and lunch items. Couldn’t have asked for a better place on our first visit to the area. Thank you!!

I went to Rosie’s by myself one morning shortly after they opened on a Saturday and sat at their small bar area to enjoy a relaxing breakfast. However, what I experienced surpassed anything I could have expected. Everything from the warm energy in the atmosphere and the sincere kindness of the staff, to the downright fantastic quality/taste of the food I ordered made every minute something to relish. I sat there watching the glowing customers come in and the cooperative staff working hard with a smile for 1 hour that morning. I felt like I was in a different world entirely, like something from a movie, it was a purely pleasurable moment in time from my perspective. Next time I will be sure to grab one of the delicious looking baked goods they have at the counter while checking out, and I’m 101% certain there will be a next time!
