If you’re looking for fancy, trendy and upscale Italian in a small place, this is it. My friend mentioned that there was a restaurant that he wanted to try and so we came to the “Pineapple Grove district” and actually found a legal parking spot around the corner. Rose’s Daughter does not do reservations (when you’re super busy, why?) so expect a wait if you’re here during the super busy times. We arrived just before 6pm on a Saturday and managed to get the last table outside before the queue started.

This modern, homeful take on Italian cuisine was really pleasant to experience. The food was very good, the ambiance and vibe was also very nice. The bar is super cool and the service was superb as well. Everyone enjoyed their food and it was rich with flavors. Would go again.

I usually don’t take photos of the food. I did here and Per Se in NYC. Both restaurants are excellent for their own reasons. Delray has always been the secret gem of Florida. Sadly, I think the secret is out but I’m very happy that restaurants like Rose’s Daughter is here for us.

We went on a Friday Night, there was a short wait, but it us super easy to get drinks at the back bar and wait on the patio. The food was delicious, we got bread, the special of crispy mushroom risotto, a margherita pizza, and the gnocchi cacio e pepe. All was absolutely delicious, and service was great! We had the strawberry lemonade cocktail to drink, which were very fresh and tasty. Definitely recommended.

Another hidden gem in Delray Beach. An awesome place with amazing service and off the hook flavored food. Starting with the spinach dumplings that were on point with just the right texture and flavor. I rolled with the short rib pappardelle and this amazing black truffle beef stroganoff flavor that is about to become a famous dish delivered dynamite flavor with perfect texture. The wife went with frutti di mare a great mix of scallops, shrimp, calamari, clams and tomato broth with ink pasta. Another amazing dish with incredible flavor. If your looking for off the hook flavors in downtown Delray this is it.

Absolutely disappointing. From the food, to the prices, to the service, there is no way that I can recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good food and good vibes. I don’t mind paying $$$ for quality food but when restaurants take you for a fool, serving miniature portions and mediocre food, who wouldn’t be upset. Started out with bread, extra charge for a chewy piece of pizza dough and unsalted butter, thumbs down. Next had the house made burrata, not bad but small and the arugula around it was drowning in aged balsamic, overpowering. Excited about the carpaccio, my go to dish whenever it’s offered, my expectation was high at a $18 appetizer price point. Barely any meat and smothered in a sour mayonnaise/Caesar dressing and sprinkled with raw mushrooms, I could not be more disappointed. Knowing the dish should be balance of delicate meat and a light drizzle of olive oil and lemon, I had to send this imposter back to the kitchen as it made me nauseous. Unexpectedly, the waitress was very rude and condescending about the me rejecting the appetizer. Bad business. And finally the lobster ravioli with scallops was my entree. Ok, to be fair, it wasn’t bad but I expected far more flavor and more lobster in the 4 raviolis at the $30 price point. Scallops were cooked well but really the lobster flavor was on my mind as the broth was described as a lobster reduction. Overall, not a good experience.

We came from New Smyrna Beach to WPB and Rose’s Daughter was the 1st stop on our foodie tour. It ended up being the best place we went by far!!

My wife and I were in town and were recommended this place for dinner. It did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the pizza dough is incredible (so so soft). The service was a little slow but it was also very busy the night we were there. We also had desert and that also was very good. I loved the pistachio cannoli I ordered. The atmosphere both inside and out was warm and welcoming. Would love to go again in the future.

Simply Amazing I was recommended by a friend. Authentic Italian food from an appetizer of a brick oven neopolitan pizza a delicious veal chop made in a San Marzano sauce a delicious Branzino made with shrimp in a lobster reduction and finally a short rib in parpedelle pasta to die for. If you want to talk about dessert try the zeppole in a cinnamon with vanilla gelato on for size. A magnificent Italian experience.

Starting with the good. The fresh pasta was special. You don’t get that many places. Beyond that, it was unimpressive. The sauce was nothing special, almost tasteless. The pizza with shrimp was more a gimmick than I can’t wait to have that again. The short ribs were again mostly tasteless. We waited a long time for a server. There was no bread served with the meal, had to ask for salt and pepper. The water had so much city chlorine I couldn’t drink it. Most places filter that with carbon filters. For the money I was expecting much better food. I’ve had better tasting pasta at chains. They also didn’t seem to care about their customers. Nothing personal about the host, the manager, or the waitress. Just WamBam. They should spend more time on fewer better tasting dishes than lots of mediocre ones. Don’t predict a long future for this place. Off the ave needs to be really good. Had Papa’s Tappa’s the night before. In a different league.
