I came with a friend who is a native Texan. She said i needed to try some real Tex-Mex while visiting Texas. Breakfast was better than my dinner choice. Breakfast I had Migas and she had Huevos Rancheros. Dinner I didn’t really find anything different in the ground beef tacos in a hard shell than if I had gone to Taco Bell. But my friend had Enchiladas and there was a deep flavor to her sauce with a hint of spice.

I’m from Arizona and I’ve been looking for good Mexican food. I arrived on Taco Tuesday and was all in for the $5.99 3 taco plate. The food was hot and fresh, while not what I’m used too in AZ, it was still good and I will be back. I was full after I finished my taco plate so good portions.

This place continually gets my order wrong. I try calling to get a refund and the lady acts like she can’t hear me. I drive 15miles just go comment to this. I order a beef salad. With extra beef. $5+ from the original 11.45$ price. I NEVER get my beef that comes originally with my order. I’m paying 22$ for a salad that only has one serving of beef. I try to call to get a refund the ladies act so rude and disrespectful. I will never come to this place again.

Always enjoy the atmosphere of the dining room, very colorful and cheerful. They make their own tortillas, which is still fairly rare in Austin. Food is solid Tex-Mex of a style that reminds me of Taco Cabana back when they used to be good. Solid salsa and condiment bar. Breakfast is an especially good value.
