Roosters was Established in 1995 in Ogden Utah and opened our second location ten years later in 2005. Roosters Layton Brewing Company and Restaurant is a local owned business. This family friendly restaurant and brewery offers a large menu from burgers and pizza to steak and seafood. Pair it with one of our many unique hand crafted beers.

The drinks are good.
The food is good but definitely not worth the prices.
I ordered the BBQ burger with brisket and it’s good but definitely not worth $19.
The Philly cheesesteak is okay.
The salad was below average.

We had a great time dining at Roosters in Layton! The vibe is casual yet stylish — exposed brick, warm lighting, and modern touches make it feel inviting and comfortable. From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly and attentive.
The menu had lots of tempting options, and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. You can tell they take pride in their food and the overall experience.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area — we’ll definitely be back!

Was gifted a gift card to this place, and this was our first time trying it. We ordered two burgers and an appetizer. Definitely wouldn’t go back. The burgers were overcooked and had zero seasoning. The gorgonzola was DISGUSTING. We ordered a calamari appetizer and there was barely anything in it. Like, what a pathetic excuse for an appetizer… it looks half chewed. The food made us sick immediately. Just gross. So glad I didn’t actually have to pay for it myself, because I’d be pissed.

We went to Roosters for the first time a few weeks ago. The food was enjoyable, the atmosphere and Service were also good. While the food was descent it was nothing special. The fish tacos were good. The burgers were also good. Fries were mediocre. About on par with Applebee’s. But the 5 cheese appetizer was really good. Overall an enjoyable experience but doesnt live up to its hype.

Today was our first time visiting Rooster’s. SO GOOD! We knew nothing about this place, but we drive past all the time. The food was delicious (especially the cheese curds – see pic) and huge portions. The kids menu says they can get a slice of pizza (cheese or pepperoni) but it’s actually a half of a pizza! The crust was so good, we all shared some of the kids’ pizzas. The kids chicken tenders were also amazing. I got a turkey sandwich and my husband the Philly Cheesesteak. All around we were just really impressed.
It was a very nice and relaxed atmosphere and the service was the best we’ve had in a very long time. Mari Ana was our server and she took such great care of us. Every other employee we interacted with was so friendly and helpful as well.
Overall, our lunch here was a great experience. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We will definitely be back! I would love to try their brunch, as I’m sure it’s top notch as well. Thanks for an awesome time!!

We had a great experience here! The service was friendly and attentive, and food came out very quickly. Everyone was welcoming to kids, and the food and drinks were delicious. I enjoyed the Honey wheat beer and my wife enjoyed her cocktail. I definitely recommend a visit.

I was very very impressed with this place. We were in the area for a kids tournament and stopped by for dinner. Very nice brewery and atmosphere. Our server was awesome and s very friendly and even though it was a busy Sat night he wasn’t trying to rush us at all. Every meal we got was yummy and hot. The mac and cheese, plus bacon, was a hit for the whole table.
Also the fries are amazing!!! Definitely a good restaurant in the area and a place we will visit again!

I got a pasta and it was lacking flavor. I did get a tiny piece of salmon on it and although small a little dry. I was disappointed for the price it was on the 20+ side. My husband got a cheese steak and it was also disappointing. Small size and lacked meat. His soup however he said was tasty. I’m not sure about other food items they have but we were disappointed for the pricing.

Came in for dinner reservations at 4pm. We had Marcus as our waiter. He was awesome. Kind, friendly and courteous. He provided outstanding customer service. It was mine and my fiancés first time here and it did not disappoint! Marcus recommended some dishes and deserts to us and they were all delicious! I recommend the Roosters Mac & Cheese, it’s amazing! We would most definitely return! Thanks so much for a great night and experience Marcus!
