As a local resident, I like the hometown feel of JJ’s and they have kept their drink prices reasonable so that is a plus, but this small plate of tots was $13.50 after tax and tip. That’s about 50 cents a tater tot, plus the unannounced added small charge for the BBQ sauce. Really guys?

We enjoy coming to JJs for Bingo and food and drinks. It’s usually busy on Bingo days, but we get there early and can get a table and order food and drinks before the first number is called. The service is good even though the place is super busy, and prices are reasonable. The waitresses are very upbeat, laugh at my husband’s jokes and refill our drinks without us having to ask. My husband’s favorites are the lasagna or chicken potpie. I usually have the Caesar salad with salmon and it has been good, although once or twice the salmon was slightly overcooked. The last time I thought I’d try something different and ordered the turkey melt and was sorely disappointed. I was looking forward to a slightly greasy sautéed sandwich with gooey cheese oozing out, stuffed with turkey. Instead the sandwich I received was like dry toast, with two slices of cheese stuck to it and a skimpy amount of turkey. I ate the turkey and peeled the cheese off, but it was very underwhelming. Please learn how to make a proper melt sandwich or take it off the menu. I won’t be ordering it again. Not giving a terrible rating, because this has been the only bad experience in over two years, but I just had to let you know the sandwich was terrible. Thanks.

Very crowded, tables were moved for large groups, blocking the path to the pull tabs and exit. Constantly being bumped by staff and customer while in pull tab line. Ordered a cheese burger w/ lettus and tomato well done with chips. Necessary to send back as pink inside. They brought me another one fully load with onions mayo etc without the chips. I pointed this out and they returned to the kitchen. By the time I got my food the third time, everyone else was done. Not sure if staff was upset with the kitchen or me for not just accepting what was served to me.
When we tried to pay and leave, we couldn’t find our waitress and no one else could could take our payment. Appears they are short staffed and employees moral appears to be suffering. Did not see any staff smile while we were there.

Stopped by for a quick lunch, and it was quick. Service was fast and wait staff was super friendly. Food service was quick as well… almost too quick, but no problems with the food. Seating was plentiful as well as the tvs. It would seem like a great place to watch Sunday football! My burger was cooked as I asked, medium, and was pretty good. My partners beer batter fish was less desirable-just lacked some flavor.

Placed an online order. Went in and got it at the pick up time there’s no one to greet you. I found a waiter to ask him where to find my food. There was no hello just a what’s up. When I said excuse me, he pointed it out, and that was it, I live across the street and by the time I got home there was no heat to my food. Fries are cold, lettuce is wilted, tomato is disgusting and soggy, and I’m thinking this was one of the worst decisions I have made in a while. Worst part is that I was actually hungry and just wanted something new. Take out turkey burger is a fail not because it had to be but because they didn’t use realistic pick up times for the amount of business that they had going on and because of the lack of quality, in the condiments added the burger, soggy bread, and the cold fries…. and after further examination, I’m pretty sure this is a patty frozen that arrives to the store as a patty and was never fresh ground turkey at JJ’s clubhouse which is just lazy. Will not go back ever.
Update: called back that same evening for a refund. Spoke to amber and she was going to call me back after looking into this. I advised she check this review for pics and I guess that upset her because she asked if I actually left a review and I stated yes, how else will people know of the service I received. I still haven’t heard back from amber the manager or seen the refund for this horrible food. Guess they need it more than me huh?!!!

The elderly waitresses were extremely rude and unhelpful. I could clearly read the sign saying to seat myself, but I had a simple question about order pick up. (I had an online order) Instead of offering help, they commented on me “standing there for so long” and glared at me while I waited for someone to have time to help me.
When one finally came over it was to talk to two men who came in AFTER me. She was dismissive to myself and the men, waved us off, and walked away as I tried to ask my question. I was cut off, ignored, and treated with zero respect. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place at all.
