Old school type of local bar, but with really excellent food and friendly service, we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was great I overate tremendously. i had the poutine and jambalaya, either of which would have been plenty enough by itself. My wife had the harvest salad, which she enjoyed. Lots of local beer offerings.

Food was amazing l! Fish tacos and burger, best fries I have ever had. Owner I believe was great and friendly. Host/server either never worked a job or didn’t know how to talk to people. No music was playing and none of the TVs were on either we were the only people in the entire place.
Server didn’t know where kids menue was. Or even ask until I asked him to find out what was on the kids menu for me. He Didn’t ask us for refills during our meal. I’d say with new and better server staff your place will be booming the food was amazing for pub food!

Our first time trying Rooster Fish. The wing flavor (mild) was so good, and they had a good crisp on them. The nachos were definitely hard not to make a meal out of them. The burger had great flavor… a little pink for me,,, but perfect for my husband. The pretzels were good but extremely salty.

I stopped in for a quick bite to eat before embarking on our winery adventure of Seneca Lake. The food was good and the atmosphere was a nice pub style. The pouteen was good and the soup was good, my burger was good and the jalapeños on the burger were great! Nice little place to stop in on your way through!

I stopped in for lunch on Friday and was seated quickly. I ordered the Nashville chicken tacos, which the menu described as 3 chicken strips tossed in Nashville sauce, topped with coleslaw and pickles. What arrived was completely different and very disappointing. There were no chicken strips, no fried chicken at all, and no coleslaw. The tacos I received were extremely salty and inedible. The only positive was that the fries were good.

Went here Saturday night of Labor Day weekend, coming from out of town. This place has a large dining room and we were sat right away and the waiter came over pretty quickly to grab our drinks and apps. My favorite app was the fried pickles, very crunchy, and not over breaded. They were spear, as opposed to chip, which I love. I got the fish tacos and knew I was taking a bit of a risk, ordering that from a place I’d never been, but they were great! Crunchy and light with some good toppings. My boyfriend liked his burger and the drink was strong and cheap! A band was playing music in the front bar area and everyone was having a great time! Would definitely suggest for some bar food and fun!

As a local I do not recommend. I’m a firm believer in looking at reviews before going into a place to spend a nice evening and money. Came in on 4th of July weekend, around 530, place was not packed yet as their were plenty of open tables. We came due to the fact they were having live music and we wanted to eat before getting drinks and listening. We were sat and it took about 10 minutes for someone to even come get our drink order. Then another ten minutes to receive them. At this point we pondered if we should leave and go somewhere else for dinner, but decided to stay. We ended up ordering 2 appetizers and our meal. An hour and 15 minutes go by, no food. We see other tables receive their food who were sat down after us (they had a different waitress).
Our waitress— who seemed brand new to serving as she was VERY nervous and acted scared of her tables, she never once came over to check in with us or get us refills. We saw her walk back and forth a bunch of times past us. She brought out our food and we were already heated. We had to ask for the basics (napkins and silverware). She said she couldn’t find any more silverware (what!?!?) and we saw her walk to and from the kitchen, the bar, etc nonchalant. At this point we flagged down another server and asked about getting silverware, napkins and who was in charge. She ended up taking care of us, thankfully and taking money off the bill. In the meantime we are, but my friend never received her burger until we were done with ours, as our original waitress brought it out and literally just said “sorry”, and at that point she realized the other server took care of us. We ended up leaving and not even eating it S it came out with pink in the middle and she asked for it well done.
Anyways, my boyfriend and I ate the food, it was good, but not with the high price. Menu online does not match what menus they give you.
I will never come here again. It was just too chaotic, slow/poor service and prices were to high for the quality of the food.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Don’t waste your time and definitely not your well earned money. They don’t know what’s on the menu, we literally had to point and show them what we wanted. I called ahead to ask about fish fry and then when we arrived it wasn’t on the menu so we asked. Our waiter didn’t know so he had to go ask someone else, he didn’t know so he had to go ask someone in the back. Fish fry was tiny as hell and dry! Food wasn’t good. Steak was ordered medium came out a bloody mess, and I’m not from England. NO A/C!! We lost weight as we ate due to the sweating.
