Not real often we get to this area. But this is a must stop. The Iron Horse Burger was the bomb! Different from any other burger you have. Probably not for everyone, but definitely for me! Will be having it again on my next visit. Friendly service too.

Would not recommend. We have been excited to try this place for a while. Between it being very very dirty. Kids hamburger was raw, not just undercooked, raw. My burger came out with half the listed toppings and was the closest to tasteless I have ever had from a burger. Really hate to give a bad review here but nothing about this visit was good. We waited almost 2 hrs for food. It was busy, but not that busy. No drink refills were provided unless you walked to the bar in which im ok doing. Overall was not impressed.

This was our first time dining here and we were so impressed! My in laws had been before and they took us out here. We got pulled pork and also walleye tacos and sweet tots, all delicious and fresh. They smoke their meat there. We also got cocktails that were fantastic and strong, just what you want. I got chocolate cake to go, also so good! We had a great time talking and everyone was so friendly and we can’t wait to come back again.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was concerning enough that I feel others should be aware. During our visit, the server who was assigned to us appeared visibly intoxicated. She was unsteady on her feet and had difficulty standing at the computer to enter orders, which significantly affected service.
This was especially disappointing because this is not the first time we’ve observed this behavior during visits to this restaurant. Seeing the same issue more than once suggests a larger management problem rather than an isolated incident.
This wasn’t just slow service—it raised real concerns about professionalism and safety. While everyone can have a bad day, being impaired while working with customers is not acceptable in any service environment.
Ultimately, staff drinking while on the clock is something management needs to address immediately. It’s management’s responsibility to ensure employees are fit to work, and until that happens, I would be hesitant to return.

Great place for a meal. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For starters the beer cheese soup was delicious. The baccon cheese burger with homade chips was excellent. The establishment was very neat and clean. When you are in the area stop by and check out the menu. We will definitely return when we get back to this area.

wish I could say it was great but no I can’t. ordered the brisket blt 2 pieces of bacon, 2 sml pieces brisket and the cranberry bread was so grilled it was like eating crackers. for 20 bucks I would expect a great sandwich. service was great will try again and hope for the best

We enjoyed our dinner at the Iron Horse. We ate our meal out on the patio, and our server (can’t remember her name ) was very friendly, pleasant, and competent. We had the Walleye dinner (very generous portion) and the brisket salad. Both were delicious. We will be back!
