This was the best food I’ve eaten in Missouri! Our family came here for brunch. My son had the Belgian waffles with a side of bacon, my husband had the salmon and eggs, and I had the croque madame. Everything was absolutely delicious. I was impressed with the organic hot tea selection and fresh squeezed lemonade with Pellegrino and they source their ingredients from local farms. It’s in a cool old building with lots of funky, nostalgic touches. And our server was fantastic. I did remove one star because there was a large piece of art that was inappropriate for family dining, but otherwise it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely come back when in KC.

Food was amazing. Service was good. Atmosphere was just okay. Not sure why but couldn’t get any kind of vibe from the place, kind of weird. Our servers first day but he did very well. The Goat cheese gnocchi was so so good! Duck was really special as well. Don’t bother on bread pudding, it was more of a blueberry muffin. Cocktails were great too.

Came here for my birthday dinner! It’s a cute small place. No parking though so find some street parking! Haha. Rather small inside but it’s farm fresh food so it’s really good. The menu was super cool, looks like they change them out daily because they had todays date on the top! The mushroom soup was amazing. I got the garlic shrimp . The shrimps were huge and juicy. Yum. There was plenty. I was stuffed by the end of it. Lol the flavors were great too! We got three different desserts lol. The lemon one was the best! And I’m not normally a lemon fan haha. But it was amazing. But all of them really did taste fantastic. We also got the crème brûlée and the bread pudding I believe… they even put a cute little birthday candle on it. Teehee. Super nice place. Rather expensive though! But overall great night for a fancy dinner!

Ordered the chorizo burrito, but they were out of tortillas. Did not upset me at all; rather it forced me to be a little healthier & do a chorizo bowl of sorts. So good!! Parking is usually a little tricky, so plan for that.

My girlfriend and I went to have brunch this past Sunday and had a bit of a disappointing experience. We sat outdoors because the place is small and was already filling up about 20 min after opening. We had trouble getting coffee refills in a timely manner but had enough water so that helped. My friend got the quiche and unfortunately it was cold inside. She opted to have a side of buttered toast which she said was good. My waffles and potatoes were just fine.

This place is so wholesome and always pleasant to visit. They have fresh food and excellent service. Their lunch menu is really nice and affordable. Some dinner menus on are questionable and ordinary for its price, but if you select well, they’re wonderful.

Excellent experience! We had gnocchi and the croque madame and the biscuits and gravy. Everything was excellent, the gnocchi was made in house and melted in your mouth. They also have some outside seating that’s dog friendly.
