In 1975, an appreciation for home cooked food led Ron Baber to shift gears from his manufacturing industry career and open the first Ron’s Hamburgers and Chili in Oklahoma. Over the past 40 years, Baber’s friends and family members have opened a total of 19 other Ron’s Hamburgers and Chili restaurants throughout Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas.

I’m giving this 5 stars because the entire staff made our visit worth it. We were running late and walked in 30 minutes before close with the intention of getting our food to go. We were not only encouraged to not worry about the time but to sit and enjoy our meal. The food was plentiful and fantastic! This was our first visit to the Jenks location and we will definitely be back!
I am not squeamish about diner bathrooms but some people are, fair warning they are older restrooms and could use some love. Either way, did not bother us but a kind warning for others.

Food is fine. Fresh and hot. Burgers have been dry and overcooked last few times I’ve been. Service is non existent. They are super nice when it’s time to check out. But they ain’t coming back to the table unless you flag them down or go get your own refill. I will be hard pressed to visit this location again. Seems to have changed a lot since I started coming in the last 3 years.

Best fried pickles I’ve ever had!! Excellent atmosphere and exceptional customer service. The burgers are top tier and the hand cut french fries can’t be beat! If you’re in town for the Oklahoma Aquarium don’t miss stopping at Ron’s! The chicken bites the kiddos had were also tasty and fresh. Root beer is served in frosted mugs too!

We went to have dinner. The food was delicious but when we less expect it there was a roach crawling on the wall. I spoke with the worker. She said they’re aware of it and they’re trying to get it fixed. It was just really nasty and took my appetite away. Roaches should not be a problem in any restaurant!!! Makes you think what else don’t they have and how sanitized is their kitchen?

We were in Jenks and we decided on Ron’s for lunch. Little Flipout really wanted a hot dog with a side salad and it was a hit. Littlest Flipout went with cheeseburger with fries and was enjoyed. I decided on the sausage cheeseburger which had an impressive amount of meat and it was delicious.

Dirty with a long wait. I love Ron’s but gonna skip this location. I don’t think they have ever truly swept or moped this place. The walls need scrubbed down too. The burgers were very dry and my mushrooms tasted freezer burned with old oil.

We live in Norman so it’s the first time we had been in and it did not disappoint. I ordered the Sausage Burger which my goodness was full of delicious flavors. The onion rings and cheesy bacon tater tots were fantastic. I couldn’t have asked for a better lunch. Next time we come back into down we will be trying the Chilli!

The service is absolutely terrible. The waitresses really do not care to take your order or have any type of conversation. When you walk in and sit down, they wont come over to your table until you have been there for 10-15 minutes at least. After they take your order they will not check on you again, they will not come and refill any of your drinks either. The food was amazing but the service is the worst thing about this place. Sadly, I do not recommend going to this location. Ron’s used to have some of the best service around.
