Quick stop while out riding the coast. Super friendly folks and bartender. Will definitely be visiting again.

Are you kidding me! I thought smoking was outlawed! Not there! Yes there are vents but I could still smell and breathe it. Nope I was definitely wheezing when I left, not to mention my clothes smelled. What about my rights? Well I answered my own question, I have no rights.

Wanted to really love this place… HOWEVER as a guest visiting I was more than disappointed in the behavior of Tony and The Commander arguing over pull tabs. Tony and The Commanders behavior in front of guest was pretty appalling. Multiple people including the bartender Roxanne asked them to stop. Once we got past that awkwardness some of the locals brought pizza and the vive was definitely fun again. *Thank you for the pizza BTW*… We gambled, drank and shared sea stories and everyone was having a blast up until the racial slurs started flying out the Commanders Mouth about his. Own Grandchildren. They are biracial but he couldn’t find that word in his vocabulary and decided to use racial slurs. Truly embarrassing! There is no room for this nonsense in our posts and in general. We won’t be back back. I wish we would have gone anywhere else after hearing them speak the way they did. Commander doesn’t need to be in his position with that ignorant mentality. I couldn’t have not left a review. Totally disgraceful because it seems like it’s the norm.

The guy that let us in was exceptionally rude, everyone just stared at us like we were trespassing. Couldn’t have felt more unwelcome or out of place among fellow veterans. Left our drinks barely touched and went home. Won’t be back. It’s a shame because I’m a PUFL member looking for other active posts. This was the worst experience, and I’ve been to a lot of veterans organizations across the country.

I received a letter in the mail a few days ago from the post commander. It described how much they renovated the inside, cleaned it up, and said the hall was now smoke free. I rejoined the Legion and went to bingo last night and had to leave early because of too much cigarette smoke from the smokers. I let my membership expire 2 years ago because smoking was allowed there. It still is and I won’t be going back until the post bans smoking inside. My eyes are still burning and my lungs are still congested from the smoke.

Great post very nice people, but unfortunately they do have indoor smoking so we don’t go there as often as we would if it was smoke free

I love everyone and everything I do there… It’s convenient to get in and out… If you don’t have a key card just ring the doorbell and you walk in the back door where you park…
