I have been coming to Romero’s for 6 years now and I have never had a bad meal yet, quite the contrary I scrape my plate clean every time.
My mom had Nick’s Way with the chicken tacos and I ordered the enchiladas de mole. I couldn’t wait to take the picture as you can tell.
If you want delicious food with excellent service, I would highly recommend Romero’s Las Brazas. Thanks again for a fabulous meal!!!!!

Romero’s Las Brazas Restaurant truly exceeded my expectations! The fajitas and chicken fajita quesadillas were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the salsas were absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and full of that authentic kick. I was especially impressed by their selection of Mexican beers; I finally found a few I’d been searching for in Houston for a long time!
The atmosphere captures the essence of Oaxaca with its warm, vibrant environment and live music that makes the whole experience even better. And I have to mention the chicken empanadas with chipotle sauce—to die for. You can tell every dish is made with care and genuine passion for good food.

Ordered 4 large margaritas, 2 orders of fajitas. Each order was per 2 people. Only gave us 1 small sauce for all of us to share. Got the tab after we had finished was about $115. We had leftover meats, but not enough tortillas so we asked for extra. Asked for 3 tortillas, waiter printed another receipt and charged 40cents per tortilla. We asked how come we spent over $100 and still had to charge us for 3 tortillas. Since we asked he took it off the tab. Didn’t get water refills BTW. Food is good, but will not come here again due to lack of service and tried to charge extra. Ps. The alcohol and food tax were separate on the bill.. never seen that before but okay.

We decided to try somewhere we haven’t eaten, and we used to live by the Longenbaugh location, so we saw it all the time. I have never been so disappointed in a Mexican restaurant. The enchiladas have no flavor, the gravy is really bland. They came with a side of rice in one of those small styrofoam container and there was the thinnest layer at the bottom. That was all. Charro beans are bland and the guacamole is slimy. We definitely won’t be back.

I was underwhelmed by this location compared to the original Loganbaugh location in Copperfield. Upon entering, I was struck by an overpowering herbal aroma that I found unappealing. The mango margaritas and food failed to meet the standards set by the original location. I specifically requested that my mango margarita be garnished with Tajin, but the waitress informed me that the Tajin was too difficult to use. Apparently, the drinks were being prepared by inexperienced staff rather than a trained bartender. I placed a substantial order of chicken quesadillas, but the accompanying toppings were woefully inadequate, consisting of a mere teaspoon of sour cream and approximately a tablespoon of guacamole. This was particularly disappointing given the large size of my order. I requested additional sour cream and guacamole to compensate for the meager portions, and was subsequently charged $3.50 for a small serving of guacamole and $2.50 for the sour cream. It is worth noting that the hostess and our waitress, a young lady, demonstrated exceptional kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness throughout our visit. Nevertheless, I was unimpressed by the overall quality, portion sizes, and beverage offerings.

Clunky presentation—fajita meat too big to eat, had to cut it up.
Won’t go back.

An unexpected late night meal right before closing.
Very accommodating.
Chicken fajita nachos were delightful.
Steak fajitas were tender and had a great taste.
House margarita was perfect and cheap.
Will need to go back for happy hour.

I ordered my usual over the phone for carry out just getting off of work tired ready to just go home eat and go to sleep. Go pick up my food. Get home open it. It’s not what I ordered. Called he apologized and said don’t worry we’ll make you your correct order but it’s what he said after that that made me give him five stars!! he said, give me your address and I’ll drop it off. Everyone makes mistakes but it’s how you fix those mistakes that matters! I always have good customer service, Orders usually right, 10 out of 10! Thank you!!
