Serves some of the best churros I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside, and perfectly coated in sugar. Pairing them with their creamy ice cream is a match made in heaven. The flavors are rich and authentic, and you can tell everything is made fresh. The staff is welcoming and makes the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit if you have a sweet tooth!

First time here. Overall was a good experience but seems a little pricey for what you get. Fires had no flavor or seasoning. The Cuban was good but we added hot sauce for some more flavor. The steak we got definitely had flavor and was cooked perfectly but 25 bucks for skirt steak seems a little high. The star of the show was the empanadas! I would just have that at my meal!

I am being generous with the stars.
The food is over priced for the portions served and the actual taste is underwhelming.
No one bothered to ask if we were “happy” with our meal. I paid the check, we won’t be back.

There simply are not enough stars for Romeito! My wife and I are forever grateful to this restaurant. We’ve loved coming here for years and decided to give them a chance at catering for our wedding (~140 guests). It was the best decision we made! The food was incredible like always. The empanadas and croquettes were huge hits for the appetizers and people RAVED about the lechon and the pollo asado. The lechon asado is by far my favorite dish I’ve ever eaten and I have traveled for work to all 50 states eating at some of the best restaurants across the country. The service is incredible and they always make us feel so welcome. You won’t find better food or service in the Kansas City area. Gracias Romeito!

More people need to know about this place. Food is fantastic and authentic. Daily meals come with fried plantains, rice, and beans. Everything was seasoned well. Service was great and very friendly. Nothing bad to say. This is our new local spot.

Finally tried this place out and it did not disappoint! The flan tastes exactly like the kind my parents used to make. All the food was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding. Generous portion sizes made for tasty leftovers. Can’t wait to come back.
We had: the appetizer plate, mamey shake, cuban coffee, turkey sandwich, and lechón (pork).

Started with the Tostones Rellenos, little fried plantain cups topped with chicken that were heavy and underwhelming. The Media Noche was an amazing sandwich. The Sandwich Cubano was unimpressive. I had ordered it because when I had it in St. Louis, it was delicious. The Pollo Artesano was unremarkable. Although it initially felt pricey, the generous portion sizes made it worth it. The cash discount is a nice bonus.

Started with a Materva, orders the special of the day “Rabo Encendido” taste was good, portion was fair also. Price was a bit steep. Had to finish off with the cafecito.

From the moment I walked in super friendly! I came alone and they were still very attentive towards me. The mojito was very good which I got the recommendation from another review on here. I’m glad I listened! The bread was fresh, hot, crispy and delicious. I got the lechon asado and it was juicy, not dry at all. I ordered extra sweet plantains because they’re my favorite but they came with four anyways. The tres leches was good, I personally like mine more soaked and not such a thick topping but it was still delicious and I ate every piece. Overall, great place with friendly staff and delicious food. Highly recommend. I peeked others food too and it looked very good too it was hard to choose from but it reminded me of the food I get in Miami
