I was really impressed. I ordered sweet and smokey chicken breast with pig tails and green beans with small potatoes. Everything was delicious. Chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. My kids enjoyed their meal as well. All in all for 5 people the bill was amazing reasonable. I would reccomend eating there.

If anyone has anything negative to say about Rodney’s they can shove it; this place is amazing! Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had and I’ve had BBQ from Memphis, Texas, and Arkansas (trust me there’s some good BBQ here), and this is easily in my top 10. Will be back very soon!! Probably would’ve helped if I had taken a pic before, but I couldn’t wait. I had the Jumbo BBQ plate with Blueberry Chipotle and Onion Straws and Baked Beans, now it’s time for nap!

The food is delicious and the service is great. Out drinks were always filled and they asked if we needed anything else more than once! Will definitely be going back. And the blackberry Chipotle BBQ sauce was fantastic! The ribs were out of this world

Service was good but food was pitiful. The ribs were obviously boiled. The grills out front are for show only because I didn’t get one hint of smoke flavor from anything. Pork was dry and brisket was tough. Sauce tasted as if it came straight out of a can. Don’t waste your time or money. Should have known not to try it with no reviews on yelp.

Delicious BBQ sandwich with several sauces to choose from–Hot/Sweet was delicious! Loved the mac & cheese and hushpuppy sides. (Very reasonable prices, too. Homemade authentic southern food for just slightly more than cost of fast food.) Enjoyed the seating outside and friendly service.

It wasnt bad, I’ll say that much first. But it wasnt something that I myself or my family was impressed with. The waitress was very polite and thoughtful. Rodney himself didnt seem that much of people person when we walked in. We said hello an he just looked at us an looked away. There where flies everywhere flying all around us. We asked the waitress about it an she said because of a crack in the wall they think that’s where the flies are coming from. The food was ok, again nothing to boost about. I love BBQ an have been all over trying different styles an cooking methods. Not saying it’s bad just not my cup of tea. I like lots of flavor that stand out myself. I did hear theres gunna be alot of changes coming soon an new menu items so maybe things will turn alittle better.

The dinner selection is awesome with delicious food choices. Tonight Zach Burnett ( I believe that’s his name)was singing and playing the guitar to some good older country songs and did a great job. If you live in or near Rustburg you need to try this place.

Breakfast buffet very limited and poor quality. Egg shells in scrambled eggs, soggy biscuits and waffles… Dinner a little better, but bbq beans are obviously out of a can and mac and cheese pretty tasteless. Sorry, I really wanted to like this place, but after 3 tries I can’t bring myself to go back.
