The atmosphere was great I like how they designed it and everything looked new. The food was good that it’s probably in my top for BBQ places. The staff was very friendly and nice. The only down side was it seemed new. They had everything I ordered but the family behind and in front of me didn’t have what they ordered or would be another hour. If they kept more stock of food and advertised a bit more it would be really good.

The food, the music, and the atmosphere are all great! Owner is really friendly too! Tried the BBQ egg rolls which are a specialty there and they were on point. Wish it was in my own town.

Solid 4 stars. I expected the food to be just a little better. It was very good though. Very fun atmosphere and lively. The decor is great, prices are very reasonable, staff is very friendly. I think a lot of people will love this place. They do need a better sign though outside, it’s very hard to notice it.

I tried and would recommend, the Burnt ends sandwich. I was less impresses with the sides, baked beans were kind of one-noted and the cole-slaw was also a bit bland.

I am a transplanted Texan who resides in the Lil’ Ol’ Quaint New England town of Medfield,Ma. !
I have been Sallying up to this quaint little bar almost from day 1 !
Well I actually started coming here regularly around the third week of them opening.
The Rock’ n ‘Roll Rib Joint
This is a great little Local joint with some very Friendly accomodating owners and their Staff.
Paul and Marie, the owners,
are a very nice and very accommodating and very friendly people and are always making sure that you’re okay !
They make you feel very at ease and at home.
Beth, the Bartender is one of the Sweetest ladies ever and she is always attentive to making sure that your okay or if you need anything.
She too, always makes you feel comfortable being there.
Now, Me being from Texas…..it’s nice having a place close to home to come to and have a couple of cold beers and some pretty danged good Bar-B-Que !
Now what has turned out to be my favorite menu item ?
The infamous “Burnt Ends Sandwich” which it is very good, Yummy !
The Brisket is also very tender and good !
I’m used to great Mesquite smoked and well seasoned brisket. Hey I’m am a born and raised Texan !
Smoking and Bar-B-Que is a way of Life back home !
Brisket is too Texas what Clam Chowda is too New England !
I’m spoiled when it comes to Some of the best Smoked Brisket in the World.
BUT !!
For local Smoked Brisket in Massachusetts ?
You can’t beat what Paul has coming out of his little kitchen !
I do Commend Paul for a very good moist and tender Brisket !
The 2 most important points of a great Brisket!!!!
The menu also has a great selection of other nice items that pair well with the Bar-B-Que.
Myself,I always try to patronize my local businesses here in Medfield as much as I can.
I like to keep it Local often.
The next cool thing about Rock’n’ Roll Rib Joint is the cool concept of the music !
It’s like a B.Y.O.B. or should I say B.Y.O.A. ?
Bring Your Own Album were you have the choice to bring your own alvbum / vinyl to play it on Paul’s open turntable.
Kinda like open Mic but you bring and play your own vinyl/album or You can pick one off Paths personal albums off of the wall to listen too.
The thing is that, unless you were born say before 1984 ?
You probably don’t know what the hell Im taking about ?
Needless to say Rock’ n ‘Roll Rib Joint is a Fun, Friendly, Musically inclined place to hang out with really good food, good people and a very nice ownership and staff to boot !
So go on in fer a spell !
Visit, hang out ! Have a cold beer !
Enjoy the choices of Bar-B-Que, corn bread,Chilli !!
Pick out an Album and drift back in time to the great Decade of the music from the70s !
