Experience/Environment: As soon as you walk in, it gives you a perfect balance of authentic pizzeria (like someone’s Italian papa is killin it in the kitchen) and New York pizza spot vibes (except in New York. You usually have a fraction of the space that Rocco’s have).

Price: Fair. You’re not looking at Pizza Hut prices, but you’re also not looking at Grimaldi‘s.

Food: Delizioso. The pizza was great, the chicken tenders were great, oh my goodness the fries were perfect. Last but not least, I don’t usually get desserts, but does the zeppolis definitely reminded me of a cross between beignets and fried dough like they used to serve in the pizza spot I ordered from as a kid. Everything was fresh to order, perfect amount of cheese and grease lol.

Service: Definitely was served by someone’s Italian Uncle and Papa was in the kitchen making the dough from scratch.

NTT [[Next Time Try]]: I think I wanna try the tuxedo cookie, and maybe an entrée. I often forget the entrée options because I’m so fixated on pizza.

Go to Rocco’s ASAP! You won’t regret it.
Smile, eat, hydrate. Stay Greedys xo

Being from the East Coast, it’s really hard to find good New York style pizza. Rocco’s Pizza at 6870 rainbow boulevard suite 114, definitely has the best New York style pizza in Las Vegas. It’s been a long time since I’ve had pizza this good. Just looking at it I had to dig in. OMG! It looked so good I had to try it right away. Best pizza met up to my expectations. I like meat so mine’s had pepperoni sausage and ground beef. This was my first time there. I will never eat another Pizza from anywhere besides Rocco’s. That’s my new pizza home.

We were in the area looking for something new for lunch and came across this pizza spot with great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. When we walked in, the place was empty, which gave us a chance to check out the menu at our own pace. There were a couple of pizzas already out on display that looked decent, so we decided to try those along with the fried ravioli. After ordering, we waited about 10 to 15 minutes for our food.

Right away, we noticed that the pizzas weren’t made fresh—they took the ones sitting out and reheated them in the pizza oven. Unfortunately, this showed in the taste. The pizza was greasy but lacked any real flavor. As for the fried ravioli, both my wife and I found it disappointing—it tasted terrible, and we couldn’t finish it.

For a pizza place, you’d expect at least a simple cheese pizza to be a hit, but it just didn’t deliver. While it’s possible we caught them on an off day, the food really missed the mark, especially since we were craving pizza.

On the bright side, the staff was friendly and professional, and we appreciate their service. However, the food was a letdown, which is why we had to deduct stars from this review.

I’m not sure the AC was working in the restaurant or if they were having cooling issues throughout. It was hot inside. I’m a former Maitre d hotel, professional food preparer, handler, garnechet. (Just clarifying that I know what I’m reviewing here). I was really hoping to find a great little out of the way place for Italian food. I thought I’d begin with something that’s hard to cook incorrectly- ordered clam linguini, a side of tomato mozzarrela salad and the cucumber tomato onion salad. These are standard prep. The salad tasted at least 3 days old. It wasn’t fresh most certainly. The dressing was light vinegarette, not enough oil in the dressing mix. The tomatoes in the mozzarrela salad were beginning to go bad. Soft squishy and the red of the tomato meat was not translucent any more. The clam linguini pasta itself was al dente- perfect. But the sauce was also going bad. I took about three bites and didn’t feel safe eating any more of it. Bad seafood will take you down for days and I didn’t want to chance it. The tiramisu —- was delicious. I brought it home and almost forgot to take a pic. Yum. I am guessing the pizza at Rocco’s is good. Lots of people stopping in for huge pizzas.

Great place for pizza and pasta. I got a slice of pepperoni and sausage and the lasagna. The lasagna came with two twisted knots that were neither warm or garlicky (my only complaint, if they’re not supposed to be that way I’m not aware. I would have liked them warm and garlicky). The other food was quite tasty. The service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was cool. Black and white Pictures of family and friends in New York at an early time. Nice, comfortable.

First time at this Rocco’s, usually go to the store in Summerlin. We will not go back here. There were 5 of us eating and since everyone wanted different toppings, we just ordered slices. The crust was so thin you could almost see through it. It was even too thin to fold. The sauce had no taste. We were initially given 2 plates for 5 people eating. Asked for silverware since the pizza was so thin, and were given 1 set. Essentially, everyone had to go ask for their own set. Poor service, poor quality compared to the Summerlin location and the Alliante location.

So good. Our number 2 pizza place anywhere. The meatballs on the meatball sub and pizza were the best we have ever had.

The meatballs are absolutely perfect and more reminiscent of a fine Italian eatery. I plan to return just to try the pasta with these.

The pizza we had offered featured a rich tomato flavor criss crossed with more subtle pockets of cheese and herbs which made each bite more interesting. The thin crust had a soft crunch that played a more passive role but was still good on its own.

We ended up here by accident, in between a car service and ended up finding a new destination for pizza and subs. I’m guessing the pasta will come next.

Price was just $25 total for 2 people, hard to beat these days.

This place is absolutely amazing. A gem that not many realize. This place was empty and only one person walked in while I was there. This was around dinner time and on a Saturday. This deserves more credit the pizza is big and absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back.

Amazing staff! Front desk and head pizza chef were so kind, friendly, and patient. I saw them dealing with some unruly customers before me in line and they not only kept their cool, but handled the situation with grace and a smile.

Some photos of the good and the menu and a couple of their pizzas below. The only reason I provide 4 stars is because the salads were a bit lacking in terms of texture and flavor but the pizzas alone definitely were amazing.

Great spot to hit up on Rainbow Blvd! Did I mention they have dessert
