Having driven past this place countless times, we finally tried this little gem tucked away in the far corner in the co-op parking lot. Our lunches were tasty filling and inexpensive. They have daily specials, soups sandwiches and take out ready meals. They have gluten free and vegan options. A small counter to eat at and several small tables inside as well a picnic table outside. A fine little gem!

Food quality was just OK. Had a toasted cheese with bacon & tomato with a side of clam chowder. Tomatoes were barely ripe & somewhat tasteless and the chowder while having a decent amount of clams & some spices to add flavor was rather watery.

I went to this restaurant last weekend because they had vegan and gluten free options. It was the weekend of the Lavender Festival so it was extremely busy and they seemed ill equipped to deal with it. The girl taking orders and working the cash register was new as well. I could have overlooked all of this and given them the benefit of the doubt IF the food had been edible and the service at least reasonably cordial. I asked a few simple questions about the menu and the owner (who fielded questions because the new cashier didn’t know the answer) was EXTREMELY RUDE. It made me wonder why she actually decided to open a restaurant. And also, I cannot be the first person to ask if the GF bread is vegan (it’s wasn’t), as she so rudely said under her breath. The girl at the counter seemed nice and it was only her third day, so I really don’t fault her. Also, the owner was extremely short and rude to her. I get it, it was a busy weekend. People can be understanding of this if treated respectfully as I stated above.

Something in My cold sandwich was rotten. It was ham, cheddar, onion, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, mustard and was on wheat bread. The place didn’t have a single customer. The lady who make my food was very nice. But I was so grossed out. I see good reviews on here, maybe it was on off day. But I would never go back.

Formerly Fresh Mix Grill, this new soup and sandwich spot is off to a great start. Vegans and vegetarians note several menu items for us! And a separate, vegan only grill coming soon. Friendly folk, fresh food nicely done by chef Robin!

Pros: Amazing tasting food, ample parking, a delightful and unusual vary of condiments.

Robin is amazing! The food is wonderfully delicious, but the service is what really knocks this place out of the park. An example, Robin goes around to each table when she has a break from preparing and cooking, to make sure everyone is happy with their food. When she came to our table, we assured her we were pleased. She noticed (before I did) that I could use a knife, which she promptly brought. Love this hidden gem!

I love meatloaf! The meal was served with fried zucchini, mashed potatoes with gravy. Everything was delicious but too much pepper on the potatoes . It made them a bit too spicy. Should let everyone spice their own. Otherwise it’s a five star!
