The appetizer chips were warm and crisp. My husband ordered crisp tacos and chili rellano (spelling?). I ordered nacho supreme. Tex-mex food is our favorite. These dishes were the worst we have ever been served. His pepper and coating were soft mush. The ground beef taco shell was tough as cardboard and meat had no flavor. My nachos had the same thick tough taco and the ground beef was bland. We left our meal uneaten. The server and checkout asked us how our meal was. We told both of them it was the worst we ever had. They were perplexed and shrugged, no offer to make it right or write off our lunch bill of $30. Only recommendation is to avoid this place.

We found most of the food to be very bland. My friend got the grilled chicken over rice with queso, and she said the chicken was seasoned well. But the taco and enchilada I got wasn’t seasoned at all. It tasted like a rotisserie chicken had been stuffed directly into a flour tortilla with a little melted Velveeta thrown over it for good measure. The taco meat tasted very plain, and the tomatoes that came on it had a fishy aftertaste. I told the waitress that it tasted off, but she didn’t take it off the bill. The complimentary chips/salsa/queso was a nice touch but again, subpar. The salsa doesn’t have even a hint of seasoning, and the queso seems like the melted white Velveeta block. Not sure I would try this place again if I was in the area. The seating area is very small, but there were people waiting to eat there so maybe this is just the preferred tastes of those in the area.

I’m all for staying local but I don’t feel like I will ever be back to this restaurant. The food was okay, nothing special. My main problem was with the service. The staff were all so young and didn’t seem to know what they were doing. They sat at the table next to us,eating food and ice cream and laughing and talking and didn’t seem like they wanted to do much else. It took 30 minutes to get our food which is a long time when you only have a one hour lunch break. And the restaurant was by no means busy at this time, there were barely a handful of tables.

For a small town eatery this was a fun time. Really good food. Service was quick and they got your food to you fast. Waitress attentive and even though new she quick to answer our questions. I’d certainly eat here again.

Firstly the staff was very kind and friendly. The food however ROBERT owns this not Roberto. I’m from South Texas and this isDefinitely not Tex-Mex . You’re better off going to Taco Bell honestly. The food was so bad that I wasn’t even mad about it. It was very comical. They used FLOUR tortillas for my enchiladas and call Verde sauce green sauce on the menu I should of known . Don’t do it!

Again the past Sunday my friends and i ate at Roberto’s. Was a very enjoying experience. I love the atmosphere, the food is delicious and the waitress was very helpful, polite, and sweet. The place has a cozy spanish decor, bright colors. I love going there. I only wish there was more parking. But i will continue to go there, even still .

I can honestly say with certainty this is the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to in the state of Oklahoma. Just an absolute train wreck. The service is terrible, the atmosphere is worse, the food reminds me of an old taco cabana, the queso and salsa was a joke, same with the menu they brought me the wrong plate, the horrible pop country music they were playing was way too loud and sooo bad. Even by pop country standards, you could hear them apologizing to every patron in the place over something or another they must have been screwing up. I had a deep deep desire to not be there literally after I sat down. If witnessing a train wreck or an execution is your thing check it out.

Was having a hard day and just needed a minute. Staff was helpful when I needed something and left me alone when I didn’t. They kept everything refilled in a timely manner. I ordered enchiladas and they came out with flour shells. I nicely asked for corn shells instead and they fixed it quickly. Enchiladas were delicious! Queso was free and some of the best I have ever had. Great place to grab food.
