This is by far the coziest and loveliest authentic Italian restaurant in Oslo. From the moment you walk through the restaurant, you are encumbered by the atmosphere; the smell of delicious cuisine and the pleasant sound of Italian music. Lovely space, friendly staff, and delicious/authentic flavors! We had a reservation and were easily seated. Unfortunately given their fresh production of everything and our arrival after many other tables, we did wait a full hour for our entrees. The staff did acknowledge the delay and offered some focaccia as an apology. House wine was just right and the sauces and noodles were scrumptious. The indoor space is rather cozy and can get a bit stuffy/warm. Highly recommend, but make sure you have the time to really appreciate the experience!

This place is really authentic and you can feel the Italian vibes. The food is fantastic. So is the price. This is definitely a hidden gem in Oslo. The owner were singing during the evening and damn he can sing!!!

Unfortunately, our visit was deeply disappointing.
We booked our table for June in March and when we arrived we were not on the list, and the waiter was clearly annoyed and completely ignored us from we were seated. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, yet the few tables present were all experiencing the same poor service. It took over 30 minutes before we could get a waiter’s attention, and another 15 minutes just to receive our drinks.
After a further 45 minutes, our starters finally arrived (simple bruschetta and carpaccio). But then the waiter tried taking it back and giving the food to someone else even though they had ordered something entirely different and after us… Fortunately the young waiter, we and the other table all were able to convince her it was our food and not theirs. In that entire 90min , only three dishes total came out of the kitchen for the whole restaurant.
Then came another 40-minute wait for our mains, which weren’t even served together—mine arrived a full 10 minutes before my partner’s. By this point, we were starving; I had already developed a headache and felt faint from the wait.
The primary waiter felt indifferent, and almost aggregated, and the atmosphere was tense with visible frustration at other tables as well. The only one who seemed to care about the customers were the young waiter which came about 45 min into our visit and tried to make the best of it.
Between the painfully slow service, the lack of coordination, and the overall experience, I cannot recommend this place. In retrospect we should have just left…
The 2 star on service is entirely lifted by the young waiter, otherwise it would be a minus 5 if possible.

We stopped by for dinner after a long day of site seeing and it was the perfect way to end the evening! Fabulous fabulous food and a great atmosphere! My best friend left her wallet there on accident and not only did they use the reservation list to figure out how to contact her, but they were also willing to stay open late to give us enough to get back to the restaurant to pick it up! As two young women traveling internationally this was very much appreciated! We tried tipping them for their above and beyond service but the owner refused and said spreading the word about the restaurant was payment enough!

We waited for over an hour for our gnocchi that was way too salty, and tasted like store-bought ones. We were greeted with a waitress that was cold and not service-oriented. The other customers that were stressed about not getting the food were also a distracting part of the experience. Overall too overpriced for a flavourless experience.
