Restaurant was changed to a diner, and the pictures/menu on previous reviews are no longer what they serve. Everything was okay, but I found it odd for a 20 percent gratuity to be added automatically when you get your food at the counter, so there was no actual service aside from paying at the register. Disappointed that the BBQ is gone.

We ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and macaroni and cheese. The sides were good, the Mac n cheese was good and cheesy. The chicken looked awesome and had a nice crunchy texture, however it had hardly any flavor. My son came to the same conclusion without any prompting. Looks great but no flavor other than a hint of the oil it was deep fried in. But we ate everything and will probably go back to try the burgers which I’ve heard are pretty good.

We stopped in for a quick lunch. We were surprised to find the lack of barbecue options on the menu despite the photographs online and name. The barbecue we had was okay. My partner had a mediocre burger, lacked good seasoning and dressing. I had an alright pulled pork sandwich.

I’ve been to Road Hogs at least 3 or 4 times now. The server Ted is always very friendly and accommodating. This last visit I really enjoy the brisket platter with beans and collard greens. Also Hawg Dog topped with coleslaw. So far all the sides I’ve order beans, collard greens, and chips with delicious seasoning have all really impressed my tastebuds. So flavorful. They also have several different BBQ sauces to choose from. I usually go with the apple BBQ it is personally my fav. The Burger is really good choice too. Very authentic and unique flavors. Highly recommend. Hoping to try the Ribs my next visit.

Absolutely amazing BBQ!! Just what this area needs! The pork is melt in your mouth delicious along with the baked beans & collard green greens. I dont even like collard greens and I liked them here. The staff is so friendly and had conversations with us throughout our meal. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!!

We were looking forward to the reopening of the old Road Hawg. Lordy, were we disappointed. It’s no longer a bbq place. The service was a disappointment. Very little choice in beer. I had a hamburger but they don’t cook it to suit the customer; it’s only cooked one way. You place your order, go seat yourself, then go pick up your order when you’re called. Then, they add a 20% gratuity on top of all that. We don’t expect to go there again. It was a huge drop off from the original Road Hawg.

9-11-2021 – I’ve been by this place many times since it’s opened and never stopped until today and me and my girl came down and ordered two of the pulled pork platters. The pork was a little dry but good. The greens I did not like at all because they were sweet. I never had greens made that way before. The beans was good. The service here was absolutely wonderful service. I’m rating this at a 3 at this time due to the food was typical not great.
