My experience was a great one. I never left a review anywhere but I felt obligated to let y’all know that this was one of the best dining experiences I had in Hopkinsville! The restaurant was eat of the floor clean. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The owner is very attentive. Our server Bobby was AMAZING. We had 0 wait time. We came maybe 30 minutes before it closed and the food was FRESH FRESH. The food was seasoned perfectly and sides was BUSSIN BUSSIN. Great portions and prices. Atmosphere was definitely vibe! And if your like me and need something sweet after a meal DESSERT IS INCLUDED WITH THE MEAL. They got a lifetime customer OMB.

As I type this, my stomach is still hurting. I wrestled with leaving this review because of how kind the waitress was but somebody definitely needs to check either the pork chops or the chicken wings to make sure other customers do not get sick. Today I had the smother porkchops , cabbage and load mashed potatoes. The pork chop wasnt bad but it wasnt good either. Had a real peppery taste to it .The cabbage had a stinch and was extremely overcooked. Not 100% sure if it was made fresh, so I didnt attempt to try that. It was almost brown in color. The potatoes were kinda gray in color. And supposed to be loaded, yet there was gravy added to the top. It was not the best combo.The party wings werent bad but Im not sure if they were cooked all the way. I tried my friends chicken and dressing. That wasnt bad at all. The orange cake was ok as well. I would probably recommend a fountain drink over the lemonade but the regular lemonade wasnt bad.

Quaint local hot spot! The southern soul food was some of the best ever! Highly recommend the fried chicken. Do not go if you are in a hurry. Everything is cooked fresh to order.

Oh My God!!! Where have y’all been all my life. Was told by my mom about this place and how good it was. Went there yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. I got the smothered pork chops and wife got the fried pork chops. The portions was large. Wife said they were the best fried pork chops she has ever ate. I took a bite of hers and I would definitely agree. The gravy for the smother pork chops had so much flavor. This is Soul Food at its very best. Everyone working there was so friendly. The prices were very reasonable. The food I cannot express the fresh, homemade. Delicious and affordable it is. I wish I had a second stomach so I could have ate another plate. Treat yourself to this food. You will not find any place anywhere around here like it I guarantee it. You can taste the love and passion in every savory bite. I’m so glad I was told about y’all. We will definitely be a regular here.
