I had the hamburger and fries that was delicious. Fresh ground beef and prepared frozen patties. The fries were breaded and served hot. My wife had the Chipotle soup with a side salad. She said it was good, but nothing to write home about.

Thank you Rivertap! I haven’t been here in a while. I had really gotten disappointed in the service and food, specifically the fish tacos.
You’ve made an awesome comeback! My husband and I dropped in for the Happy hour and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint. The fish tacos were as I remembered, delicious!! I could actually taste the corn tortilla and it was soft and delicious.The fish was fried to perfection. The toppings….yum.
The service much better than the last time we were here. Our server had a bubbly personality and took the time to verbally tell us the beer options when we asked, something that seemed to be a problem in the past and one of the reasons we quit coming here. We’ll be back to enjoy some time in the game room.

Love this place! The staff are friendly and welcoming. The decor is so fun, wonderful details that make you look. They have a well-laid out space for dining, enjoying the bar and for kids. Food is delicious! Definitely worth return visits.

That said, the atmosphere was much louder than expected. The basketball arcade game, punching game, and air hockey going at the same time, it felt very noisy and a bit overwhelming. Personally this took away from my ability to relax and enjoy the meal. This is a somewhat newer addition to River Tap and would likely be a great spot for families or groups looking for a lively, energetic environment, but for those seeking a quieter dining experience, it may not be the best fit. Ask to sit on the right side of the restaurant, the left side is where the shenanigans are happening. Overall, a solid restaurant—just not quite the atmosphere I was hoping for.

Outdoor patio is dog friendly! We were able to get seated immediately as it wasn’t too busy. Our food came out quickly and was tasty, and the drinks were good too. The strawberry basil mule was really refreshing. We ordered the boxcar burger and the nashville hot fish sandwich (you could choose between chicken and fish, which I liked). I think they might have forgotten the hot sauce part, but it was still a really good fish sandwich so I didn’t mention anything. Overall it was a good experience. The meals would’ve been under $30 each if I hadn’t ordered a $14 cocktail.

On a road trp we three made a lunch stop on a Monday. It wasn’t crowded. We got a friendly welcome. The two staffers seemed busy so seating took a few minutes. We had two beers and a cider, which were good. We had a Navy Bean Soup, a Farmhouse Salad, and an order of Pulled Pork Rolls. We did wait a longish time for the food to arrive, though.
All were very good – except the pulled pork rolls which were rather tasteless, with only the sauce providing flavour. Worse, though, was they were awash in cooking oil! (perhaps the fryer wasn’t hot enough?)
The server agreed they weren’t good, and comped that dish; good for them, and thanks!
Sadly lunch was rather spoiled for one of us.
EDIT SEP 14. The very good and prompt reply I got to my review led me to increase my “service” rating to 4 stars, remove my “not recommended” comment, and increase my overall restaurant rating from 3 to 4.

We stopped here after camping. Fun atmosphere, great outdoor seating. Excellent service and delicious food and drinks.
