Fantastic service and food. A decent sized selection on the menu. We didn’t have to wait too long for the food which was nice. The atmosphere is very comfortable and not too noisy at all. I would definitely recommend trying them out.

Visited for dinner during a business trip to Halifax. Service from Chris was superb warm, accommodating, and attentive. All the food was excellent, and our steaks were cooked perfectly to order. Will definitely visit again!

Had 20 once rib steak with garlic mashed potatoes and mushrooms. Steak was delicious. tender and juicy. Waitress misled us saying salad was included with 20 oz rib streak when in fact it was$m $11 more. She should have been more clear when we asked about the salad and say their was an extra charge.

Really has anyone ever had a bad meal at the Keg.
Had the Pepper Steak and it was delicious, cooked to perfection and the sides were great! The atmosphere was perfect, just the right amount of light. Our server was perfect, and the food was served in with good timing. No long wait, just what you want when you are hungry.
The only down side was the steak knife had residue on it, with the server apologized for and quickly replaced.
I will definitely eat there again!

Great service. Nice atmosphere. Food was great! Service was fast and our server Sarah was amazing! My husband has a shellfish allergy and we informed the server. After that we had a manager approach to heck in and ensure the details of the allergy. She assured us our concerns would be well taken care of. Absolutely professional, attention to detail, fabulous!

Well i must say everything was actually great, except the steaks. the service, the selection and the drinks were all good. The steaks were just very slightly overcooked or undercooked I couldn’t really figure out, but given that their whole thing is steaks it matters but it wasn’t bad in any way. But I would say that the escargot was excellent haven’t had it better anywhere.

Excellent time at the Keg! Great to come here before the HST break ends. Regretfully we didn’t get a table reservation so we were at the bar area, however the service was excellent and quite fast for how busy it was. The three cheese butter for the complimentary bread was delish to have alongside an appetizer. The medium well New York Strip was cooked to perfection, the twice baked potato was decent I think the garlic mash is the way to go next time. The Billy Miner Pie was very good and a portion big enough for two people! (Photo doesn’t do justice!)

We decided to celebrate our anniversary this year by visiting The Keg for the first time. We could not possibly be happier with that decision! Our server Corey was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering perfect recommendations for what steak to order. The food was fantastic, perfectly timed so that we didn’t feel rushed to finish our appetizers to get to our main course. We received a free slice of ice cream cake as a surprise for celebrating our special day there and it was divine! We could not recommend The Keg in Halifax more to anyone who wants to have a fabulous experience from start to finish.
