I have been here several times and normally I don’t have anything bad to say, but I visited on 6/1 and the waitress changed this experience. I always get the same things; pickles & onions (fried pickles & onion rings), buffalo cauliflower, the big Mac flatbread with veggie burger substitution for the hamburger, and ice coffee flights (double cinnamon toast crunch and no peppermint). I was told that I could not get any of the substitutions I requested. When I pushed back about the flatbread I was told 2 cooks said no but the bar would allow the substitution on the flight because it was slow.

We love this restaurant! So warm and inviting. Excellent food and great service. Thanks Calvin! I’m not a country music person although I do appreciate it. I think switching music to diff genres throughout the night would really make this restaurant the place to def go. Lifts Taunton up.

Normally I would rate a 5/5 stars. We come here all the time and LOVE it. We have had exceptional service, from Kasey in particular!! But we went tonight and had Brooke. She took at least 15 mins to come over and greet us, let alone take any orders. I have worked in the service since I was 16 so it takes a lot for me to say “Okay, that’s enough,” but we probably saw her a total of 3 times in the over an hour we were here. I wanted to order another margarita but she walked by our table about 5 times without even looking at us before I decided I didn’t want the margarita anymore. Not even exaggerating when I say the only thing she was quick about doing was giving us our receipt and taking our payment. Horrible, horrible service experience. Amazing food as always, literally the worst service I’ve ever had.

The Riverhouse is a hidden little gem on the bank of the Taunton River in the weirs area of Taunton. The food is an elevated pub style. They serve flights of draft beer, margaritas, wine sangria, and mimosas. The roasted Brussel sprout appetizers is delicious, and the garlic knots are fresh baked little breads to start the meal. Their service is quick and friendly. Stop in for a bite, and you will have a great experience.

Excellent service by Brooke! The staff all seemed happy like they enjoy working there,from the hostesses to the bus staff. The food was excellent. We all ordered seafood dishes, generous portions. Home-made desserts were delicious especially the Banana cream pie. Overall great experience and we will definitely be visiting again.

The food was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and the atmosphere was amazing! The have loads of little nick knacks and ornaments that are ocean-themed, and they have a good variety of dishes to choose from. The selections were a bit pricy, but it was well worth it!

I haven’t even been able to enjoy the food or the atmosphere. Two times I called to get reservations. This last time I made reservations for 12 people. It was for a Friday @1:30pm. I show up at that time and they had a sign on the door that said they were closed til 4:30 because of flooding from the rain the night before. No one called me to tell me that they had to close and cancel my reservation. Very unprofessional and I had to try and find another place last minute to go! I called before writing this review and they said the manager or owner would call me back and that never happened either. So I will not be going there. Too bad too because I heard good things about it.
