The staff (possibly the owner) was very friendly. I saw the pandebono while waiting for my takeout, and wanted one. It is only $1.5 but they only take cards for $5 above, so he said I could just pay it next time!

The Bandeja Paisa had a lot on the plate for the price, and I enjoyed the fried pork skin! Pandebono was also tasty.

Highly recommend the fried trout. It is crispy inside out. The milkshake compliments the food well.

The food is not bad; however, what really hurts the place is the person who serves customers. The customer service is very poor , they make unfriendly faces, wouldn’t allow us to use two tables for no clear reason even though the place was completely empty, and seem bothered when spoken to. The empanada we were served was completely frozen inside, and the bandeja paisa does not look like the photo they show on social media. Unfortunately, good places often lose business because of people like this, those who don’t care about customers and are just working for the sake of working. It’s obvious they don’t enjoy what they do. Perhaps if they changed the person attending customers, the place would improve a lot.

Walked in having never tried Colombian food and was greeted by a friendly guy (could be the owner) at the counter. I asked what to get and he recommended the Bandeja Paisa. You get a nearly overwhelming amount of delicious food for $24, easily at the top of my list for quality value food in the area. Followed it up with a solid coffee flan.

We really had high expectations for this place, we got there and there was a long wait since the restaurant is very small, that’s ok. The place smelled nice so everything seemed promising, however when we got our food which took a super long time, everything really lacked flavor, the chicharrón was tasteless, ropa vieja lacked salt and the ají tasted like nothing. The natural drinks were average and the buñuelos were just ok. The service was super slow, it seems like they don’t have it together in that place. Still, no great Colombian places around the area.

Hey Elmer
The food was delicious!

I was impressed about the amount of food and how big the plates were.

I hope to come back one day.✌

I am very picky with food when it comes to flavor, quality and overall value. This place was a huge surprise. The service was quick, the food was delicious, portions were very generous. Took plenty of leftovers home. Definitely will be back, definitely would recommend this hidden gem.

I had originally given this place a 5 star review, but after my last two experiences there i wish i could give them 0 stars. First of all the old man with the glasses (Who i believe is either the owner or manager) always appears bothered by customers, he never greets or smiles at anyone, and just has a terrible overall attitude. When i went to dine in with my family a few months back, this man tried to move us from the table we were already sitting at when a larger group came to dine in, and wanted to place 5 of us at extremely tiny table in the corner of the restaurant. (Mind you, at this point we had already recieved all of our drinks and appetizers.) When i declined he gave me an attitude. Today i came back with my wife an mother. We were originally going to dine in, but we changed our mind, when we noticed a couple who came in after us were getting their drinks and orders taken before us. I went to the register and ordered 10 beef empanadas and a couple of pastries to go. When we arrived at home we discovered pretty much all but 2 of the empanadas they gave us were chicken. I called the restaurant to inform them of their mistake and this guy did not even apologize, he told me i would have to drive back to bring the empanadas to exchange them, or to prove to them they werent chicken.(This tells me they would have tried to resell these same empanadas to someone else which is very unhygenic) I told him i live an hour away from this location and he told me “Theres nothing i can do for you.” and hung up the phone on me. Stay far away from this place, unless you want to deal with terrible service.

Love their food. I personally never been to Colombia but their food really makes me feel like I’m in the country. The culture and people make it very unique. The owner will always take care of you with what you need. He knows my routine. I will definitely come back again
