If you are in Ortigia and you have not tried this amazing Chinese food, you are missing out. It is fabulously delicious with great small plates that allow you to try multiple dishes. We had the dumplings, rice, noodles, pork, beef and chicken dishes. Did I mention the fried ice cream?

If you’re craving any kind of Asian food in Sicily, this is a delicious gem on Ortigia! Everything we had was delicious and that hits a high bar coming from Seattle where we have great dim sum in the ID. Portions are on the smaller size compared to the US style of Chinese food, but the price matches so you can have multiple dishes for a great value. We had 3 different dumplings, soup, fried rice, fried chicken and a tofu dish for €33 (+beer and a water) and were too full for dessert! The owners are lovely and make all the dumplings fresh and by hand. Highly recommend!

Once we felt enough pizza and pasta, finding this place was a win. Felt sceptical about how good the Chinese food can be here until I tried the first dish. Amazing dumplings, especially with shrimp, are hard to find like this in the US. I had to go through almost all kinds of dumplings, and they are great. Fresh and full of flavor. Would recommend wonton soup, needs a hint of salt to make you come back for it. The owner is super sweet and her husband is a chief and you can feel the harmony of their history. We had to come four times to taste new things. I also got a sheet for a healthy food schedule, which is a great little tip for staying in good shape when traveling. Adding the screenshot of it as well might be useful:) prices are very reasonable and would be one of the favorite Chinese restaurants in the EU.

If the prices seem too good to be true, it’s because the portions are minuscule. Think appetizer size. The flavour of the dishes we ordered was fine but, we needed to order double amount to actually be full. Despite that if you are tired of Sicilian or Italian food, this could be an option.

We walked in about 3:00 p.m., and we were the only ones there. That does sometimes cause a bit of a concern, but the reviews were good and their menu was quite extensive. I got sweet and sour chicken, my wife got a vegetarian dish, both were surprisingly good. Service was decent, they tried to work with us with limited English usage, since everything is ala carte, prices was higher than we expected, but overall it’s a pretty good value for here on the island

Food was great. Service was great. The menu was pretty diverse and very reasonably priced. There is a good amount of seating inside and the place smelt great. I know that’s a bit strange but it really smelt good inside when we were there.

While a couple items were okay, PLEASE BE AWARE That some of the items are definitely not CHINESE, some of the items are definitely just Italian. For example, the lemon chicken is not typical Chinese lemon chicken. It is very salty, not sweet at all. But honestly, all their food was extremely salty, including the rice. Do not go here thinking it is all typical Chinese food. The people were nice though.
