Second visit – The service this visit really sucked. The blonde girl (don’t know her name) was probably the nicest there she got us seated brought our water and was very prompt. From there the service went down hill. The waiter asked for drinks and was irritated that he had to wait for kids to make up their mind. Then after the drinks came he disappeared. No bread no contact for 20+ minutes. Finally we had to ask a different waiter to order. My food was good but not great. The broccoli was over cooked and flavorless. The short ribs were so fatty that, out of the three, there was so much fat left over that it equalled to about 1/3 of all short ribs combined. Kid spilled the shirley temple, though we cleaned it up dut to no service, we were billed for a second one.

This place is beautiful! A beautiful outside seating area was where we were placed. We were given water and menus right on the spot. The trees towered over us while we dined giving the right amount of shade to light ratio. I can keep going on about how nice the outside dining area was.

What a gem of a restaurant in the Santa Cruz mountains. Booked this place for lunch after our wedding rehearsal at roaring camp. Best decision! The food was filling and flavorful. Bruschetta was delicious, salads were delicious, Gnocchi was delicious, ravioli was delicious. The sauces were delightful and everyone left happy and full. The staff was super helpful and took care of everyone with ease even though we were a large party.

The wait was horrendous. It took almost 30 minutes to get our order in. I’m still giving five stars because they all were hustling and just to many patrons and not enough staff. The food was excellent I cam back two times in the same week to get the Ciopino. Came back a third time and had their lasagna. It was excellent!!!

The service and the food were great and the outdoor seating in the middle of two adjoining redwood cathedrals is one of a kind. We were in the area of a week and had lunch there last week (I had the vegan ravioli which was very good and the other 3 had sandwiches that they all enjoyed very much) and went back tonight for our anniversary dinner. I had the cioppino and my husband had the ravioli and both were very good. Wine prices are as expected today but not too pricey. All of the staff are very helpful and very responsive. I had eaten at this location 30 years ago and knew I wanted to come back for the atmosphere. The current restaurant is well worth visiting for the service and the ambiance of the redwoods.

Amazing restaurant near big basin. Friendly people and quick service. Loved everything we had here. the garlic bread was yum to start with followed by ravioli, pesto . My kid loved his penne marinara . My friends really liked the sandwiches / paninis . We finished up with gelato and tiramisu . This restaurant also has a dog friendly patio.

Great Italian food and consistently good service. I highly recommend trying their specials. This night, I enjoyed the seafood cannelloni. It has a very unique sauce that I would like to buy! Their outside seating is very romantic. They also have an outside bar menu for more traditional food like burgers and fries with TVs for watching sports.
