We had an absolutely fantastic experience celebrating the retirement of a truly great employee, and this was the perfect place to do it. From the moment we sat down, the service was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic about making the evening special.
The food was exceptional. The tableside service added a ton of energy to the meal, and every cut of meat was cooked beautifully, flavorful, and plentiful. It felt indulgent in the best way, and everything just kept coming at the right pace.
The atmosphere really tied it all together. Lively, fun, and perfect for a group celebration—lots of laughs, great conversation, and a setting that made the night feel like an event rather than just a dinner.
Overall, an unforgettable meal and experience. Excellent service, incredible food, and a fun, celebratory vibe made this a night we’ll be talking about for a long time. Highly recommend for special occasions—or anytime you want a great time.

I’ve driven by this restaurant numerous times, and have always wanted to stop by to try it out. This time I made a point to on a Thursday evening. And, I’m glad that I did. The moment I walked through the door through the time I finished eating my food was defined by high level of service that’s not often experienced at most restaurants. The manager stopped by my table at least 3 to 4 times to check if I was satisfied and I needed anything. The servers came by countless times offering the various well seasoned and tender meat selections. I didn’t venture to far into the salad bar and the other sides because I didn’t want to get too filled up. But the mixed veggies and beans were very good too. I loved it all and will go back for lunch next time.

My husband and I celebrated our 24th anniversary (a little belated, but worth the wait!) at Rio Brazil Steakhouse in Glen Allen, VA, and I am so glad we went. This was our first time at a Brazilian steakhouse of any kind and it was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. They bring around skewer after skewer of beautifully prepared meats (which you can let them know how you like it cooked) and carve them right at your table — so fun and delicious! The meats were all wonderful, but my personal favorite was the cinnamon and sugar roasted banana — absolutely heavenly. My husband couldn’t get enough of the cinnamon and sugar roasted pineapple! Our waiter that helped us, Moshe K., was outstanding — so friendly, professional, and genuinely made us feel welcome. He truly made the evening unforgettable. I would very highly recommend Rio Brazil Steakhouse to anyone looking for something special, whether it’s a celebration or just a wonderful night out. We are already planning our next visit!

I didn’t get the “typical” Brazilian (red/green card). I sat at the bar with a glass of wine. And this place DID NOT disappoint. The staff were all very knowledgeable, kind and attentive. I ordered the steak tacos (3 come but only 1 is pictured) with a side of the Brazilian cheese bread. Holy hell!!! It’s legit!! So good!! Then they brought out some cooked cheese that had honey on it. WOW! Order it and thank me later.

Fabulous! We love a good Brazilian style steakhouse, but can’t manage as much red meat as we used too. Yea… it sucks getting… wiser! To get around this dilemma we opt to sit at the bar. The bar menu is choked full of delicious appetizers. Add a generous wine and cocktail list and you have yourself a wonderful dinner experience.

We came here for the first time to celebrate my boyfriend’s brother’s birthday, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by everyone, which immediately set the tone for the night.

This churrascaria is likely the best we have had the pleasure to dine in.
We have dined at Fogo de Chao, Texas de Brazil, and on cruise ships. This tops them all in terms of food quality, service, and atmosphere, thus the 5.0.
We will most certainly return.

We loved Rio Brazil delicious food bar mash potatoes better than Moms, says a lot. I also really enjoyed the slaw on the corner behind the rolls. Food bar was fresh and tasty. Meats were awesome, the service was as well. I enjoyed the N/A drunk recommended minus the kiwi. Reminded me of old fashion punch. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable.
