Was working in San Francisco.
Didn’t want to deal with parking hassles to my favorite places there. Decided to try something close to where I was staying.
Friendly staff.
Helpful.
Had a craving.
Quick and easy. Did the job.
Tasty etc.
Will be back.

Staff was very friendly and I enjoyed the format for a simple and fast ordering.
Prices were reasonable with proper sized portions and the bread bar was simple option if you need a little more food with a simple meal.
The meat ravioli was amazing and the best I have had in Hayward and was perfectly complemented by the Cesar salad.

I like this place because its fast and easy
The soda fountain and bread are self serve. The prices are a little less than say olive garden or tomatina but the food quality is decent. If I want quick pasta I’ll come here again.

I forgot the name of the pasta I got but it was pretty dang scrumptious. My only issue was that the sauce didn’t stick to the noodle as much as I wanted it to, so I had to clean the sauce off of my plate with bread. The bread and butter tastes great!!

Solidly unimpressive, just-okay experience. The (unlimited!) self-serve bread bar is perhaps their greatest selling point.

Otherwise, all the food tasted just meh. I ordered a chicken pesto (pasta) lunch special ($16.60 including tax), which comes with a salad or soup, and drink bar access. My pasta flavor was underwhelming and texture was slightly overdone. Veggies in my minestrone soup were crunchy in an undercooked way.

Service was fine; food came in a reasonable time.

I just wouldn’t come back again because of the lackluster cooking. TBH, you might as well purchase a quick microwave or stovetop meal from Trader Joe’s that tastes/feels better at less of a price.

This is the second branch of the one in Castro valley. Very good and new looking style.more space and room. Good food, service, and the bread is always my go to favorite. The problem is not food or service.just maintenance. Tables are wobble and walls new some touch up paint. And they be in the best business.
