Somerset needed a bit more flavor and Punta Cana Grilled serves us just that! The atmosphere is bright, enchanting and flowed with a tropical style. Their service was amazing and food was delicious. Portions are enough for two people. Empanada was a bit, I purchased the beef one. I was bummed because I only brought one, but I will be visiting again.

My job ordered food from here for Thanksgiving dinner, and the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Over the phone we were quoted “two hundred-something dollars,” but on the day of pickup we were charged just under $600.
The food did not justify that price. The chicken was completely charred, the steak was extremely overcooked and tough, and the sauce it was sitting in had a slimy texture. The rice was mid. The potato salad was pale, pasty, and oddly mixed with tomatoes — and it definitely needed seasoning. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the sweet plantains.
Overall, the food was not worth the money at all. Honestly, if there had been a Cuchifrito spot nearby, we would’ve gotten way better food for a much better price.

The food is amazing. Dominican cuisine with lots of variety and swift preparation. The servers are very friendly and make you feel welcomed. Always with a smile. And you can get your food within minutes. I go there often. Only complaint is that their best dish, the coconut salmon, is only available during a small window of time around noon. And sometimes, not even then.

Stopped by for some breakfast and was a bit skeptical. It is hard to find good Dominican food around the area. We usually have to drive a bit far. Happy to say they did not disappoint and we will be back to try lunch or dinner, had the tradicional breakfast plate which is called “Tres Golpes” which is Mangu, Fried cheese, Salami and Eggs. They had a diverse menu early in the a.m with plenty of options to choose from or pick something from the menu. Plenty of parking around back. Friendly staff and cleanliness was on point.

I stumbled upon this place, searching through yelp. I’m glad we found a new spot to give a try ! Very cute ambiance.
So basically they have a very large hot bar that you can select different meats and rice along with the sides. They make you a plate or pack it to go. Everything we had was full of flavor . I had the arroz and Pernil along with small dish of oxtails and lechon . My husband got the chicken and rice . Even though everything was super tasty the only down fall was my food wasn’t hot , not sure if they turned down the temp down on the hot table my food was more lukewarm then hot which was slightly disappointing. The taste made up for it though.

Coming from a Dominican, EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD. I was visiting the university and decided to stop here and was pleasantly surprised. My sister got the pernil and I got the bistec encebollado, both with white rice, red beans, and potato/green salad. We also got lime juice and mango juice. Everything was delicious and the restaurant itself was super cute. Go visit!!
