Ordered fried dough and Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream on the Slice app and the fried dough never arrived just the ice cream and it cost $9.99 when Ben & Jerry’s by itself is between $5-7 anywhere else. Called the restaurant and they claimed it’s an old menu and that there’s nothing they can do about it then was transferred to the manager who was useless and ignorant and didn’t offer a refund or any support he just kept saying yeah it’s just the ice cream yeah it’s just the ice cream. This is not how you run a business if you’re at fault because you’re too lazy to update a menu you reimburse the customer for the product they paid for that never arrived you don’t just put the blame on “oh it’s an old menu” learn to take responsibility and offer support. Also I just checked the menu that THEY provided with the order and right on the back of the menu under desserts it says Fried Dough and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream for $10.50. Old menu? They seriously tried to gaslight their customer and talk down to them like they’re stupid. So is the menu you provide your customers old or are you a poor business that tries to manipulate its customers and not take responsibility for literally stealing their money and straight up lying to their faces?

The girl that took the order was accurate and had good listening skills, she also said delivery was around 40 minutes but I received my food in 25 minutes so those are the pros. The driver also came to my apartment door which not a lot do and was polite. For the food I got a pepperoni pizza and curly fries with cheese. The pizza was alright, just average. I was however confused on what happened to the fries. For starters the fries themselves weren’t cooked long enough and were a bit cold and flimsy in the middle, the second thing was the online picture of what it looked like and what I received are very different. I got a side of cold cheese instead of melted on top of fries like every other place I’ve order cheese fries from. The picture of what I received and what’s online I’ll attach below.

Pizza was sub par , not awful, but not good. There is no sauce on the pizza we ordered a small cheese and a large 3 topping. Ordered two salads with chicken , chicken was very rubbery and not good. Double check your order before leaving . Their online ordering isn’t the best , the item descriptions are non existent. Your ability to adjust or add items is not available . The person on the phone and counter was a little hard to understand , but otherwise very friendly . There is definitely room for improvement.

Freshway used to be our go-to pizza shop but lately they are more of an UberEats / Doordash hub. If you order pick-up be prepared to wait 15+ minutes as they may start making your pizza after you get there. They are obviously very busy with delivery orders, give your business to one of the many other shops in the city.

Never had a bad order day or night. They’re quick, polite and don’t mess about. The pizza and chicken with fries are my regular orders and you won’t regret either! I only wish more businesses were run this well.

The food was really good. The staff was excellent, and the prices were pretty decent. Overall, 11/10 all together. If you are home on a Friday night, don’t wanna cook, pick up your phone, and give freshway a call and place your order for your Friday night delight. You won’t be disappointed
