We tried this spot for the first time last week and were genuinely impressed. Newberry may not be an area everyone thinks to visit, but the restaurant itself was small, cozy, and clean, with a great outdoor seating area.
We ordered the smoked wings and were pleasantly surprised—they were a bit pricey for the size, but the flavor more than made up for it. The highlight, though, was the drink menu, especially the selection of locally crafted beers.
I’m not sure if we’ll be regulars, but it’s absolutely worth checking out. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Amazing food!!!
The Wife and I were very pleased with this place.
Got the smokehouse burger with fries, and damn it was delicious! Way more than I could eat and I was hungry. I’ll be back.

Great service! We were offered tastes of the beers before making our selections. The bartender was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. There is hard seltzer and hard cider on tap for non beer drinkers. A basic food menu is available. Everyone was also immediately given glasses and a carafe of water.

There is limited parking behind the pub.

There is a beautiful outdoor space.

The bathroom was clean. Both are gender neutral. Beer cans available for take-out.

Nice simple local bar. Plenty of special brews to try.
The food was OK but lacked selection. Fish was fine but when asked for lemon for fish none was available.
We’ll have to try again during warmer weather to see if anything is better.

The food for Octoberfest was typical German fair. Great Bratwurst and German Potato Salad. And you have to try the Round hill Red Ale!

We stopped here while we were in town for the Regionals Wrestling Tournament. It was about an hour before closing, but Jessica was very welcoming and attentive to us! She quickly got our food order in before the kitchen closed. We tried several of the beers and they were all great! The food was ok, but nothing to write home about! We enjoyed our visit, however, and would definitely come back for the beer and ambiance. Give them a try!

Excellent brews, and great service despite being terribly understaffed. Would definitely visit again. Food was good, but menu lacking much variety.

One of my favorite local places! Hosts Moose’s Trivia Thursday nights which makes for a perfect evening out to grab a few beers and enjoy some pulled pork nachos with EXTRA cajun ranch.
