This was my first time visiting Richie’s and my last. My granddaughter and I stopped in for breakfast. We placed our order, and I got my decaf coffee. When Allison, our waitress brought our silverware, they were not wrapped in a napkin. Rather, she just carried them in her bare hands after handling the wash towels that were lying on the counter. Not very sanitary! The silverware was not clean.

This is a slice of Americana. A quaint, historical looking diner in small town America. The food is average greasy spoon, which is exactly what I wanted and expected. The staff, however, ruined the experience. Without so much as a “hello” they told me and my 3 yo daughter to sit anywhere. Half of the tables still had dirty dishes on them, which hurt the allure of the atmosphere. She gave us one menu, and said it was the last one. We passed a large stack of menus when we came in. A terse, “what do you want?” Informed me it was time to order. After she dropped off the food, she was never seen at our table again. Yet, she had no problem visiting the nearby tables multiple times to chat, laugh, and talk to them by name. When I paid her with cash (they don’t accept cards or checks) she shoved the change in my hand. I said, “thank you, have a great day.” Her reply was a cold glare at me as she walked away without a word. This was my experience on 8-18-2023. Clearly, if you’re not a well known local, you’re not wanted here.

I have gone here frequently. Food is usually good. This time it was mediocre. There is a spider web in the upper corner by the front window with multiple egg sacks. Been there awhile. The floor was filthy. Multiple tables with dirty dishes while staff stood around talking. Won’t recommend or go here again. 8-26-23

It’s your basic greasy spoon. Holly was my waitress & she’s always extra good. I had an olive burger w/bacon, hot pepper cheese. It was the best burger I have had in a long time.

Neat little place right downtown. The waitress was super friendly and the way this place was layed out, you can watch them cook your food like a old diner feel to it. The menu was simple and basic. Dont think for a minute that it wasn’t good though. The burgers we had were fresh as advertised and full of flavor. The fries were crispy and hot! Just the way we like them. The prices were surprisingly low for the amount of food you got. Great job guys!

The staff is friendly, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable. My wife and I tried Richie’s for the first time almost 2 months ago, and we have been back in almost every weekend since. You wont get this kind of greasy goodness at a chain restaurant.

Classic Burger joint. Older style when walking through the door. Had a classic burger, and it was well made. Bun was nicely toasted with a toasty crunch that accented the meats flavor and texture well. Atmosphere was very relaxed, with the clientele to match. Prices and portions were reasonable, and the staff were attentive.

Always good food. The restaurant is older and has not been updated for some time. With it being older, the griddle is well seasoned and cooks everything perfectly.
