The “Brew Rat”
Always considered this place for the older folks. Now that I’m one of the old folks, I realized I missed a great meal experience. Coffee is fresh and hot. The breakfast bowl is my wife’s and mines favorite. Seat yourself feels so much nicer than having to ask for a booth. Just grab a seat. Staff was super nice. Always feed you the right amount at a great price.

Worst wait service. Ordered liver and onions which I love. Got mashed potatoes with gravy, and hot Harvard beets. I do not eat a lot at one time. I asked for a box to take my leftover home. Had paid, waitress was not back. Waited for about 15 min. Finally had my grandson to ask for one from counter she said yes if you just give me time, rudely. We finally left the food on the table. I paid a sale price for the food plus the same fir my daughter plus their great size burger. I paid 25.oo for all I believe, and had left 5.00 for a tip. Picked the tip up and left. Love the food wanted to take it for supper. Did not get it.

The waitress was a young lady who really took care of us. She kept our coffee full at all times and always asked us if there was anything else she could do for us or was there anything else we wanted. I didn’t get her name, but I will remember her face. I eat at richards quite often. Her service was top notch.she got a good tip. A good waitress and excellent food is top priority for me.

We seated ourselves as the sign said. Then a lady came right away and got our drink orders. Then another lady came to get our drink orders. Evidently her coworker had seen us come in and offered a helping hand, since our server was busy with other customers. Great team work. Food was delicious. We like to go and get their apple dumplings with milk, just like Grandma and Mom used to make. They checked on us several times while eating and asked if we needed anything. Very great wait staff. So sweet.
