Recently ate at this truck while at Kirby Ice House on Gessner. Ordered the Nashville Hot chicken po’boy. It was NOT spicy. There was more breading than chicken and the bread to chicken ration was out of wack (but I understand it’s a po’boy). And the fries were cold.

Tried their Nashville Hot Chicken Cheese Fries. Service was fast but the fries were cold, cheese wasn’t melted and overall taste was not good. Not worth the $15 I spent, I wish I went to one of the other food trucks in the area instead.

First of all, the food is fantastic. I had the Nashville hot crab last time, and it was super spicy and delicious. Tonight I wanted the shrimp po bo, but my fiancé accidentally ordered me the shrimp basket. When I asked to exchange it for what I wanted, they graciously agreed. I’m so thankful bc this bread is worth it!! 10/10 recommend.

This is one of the most awesome food trucks in Houston! We’ve invited them to serve at two major events in the last year at our school, and in each case, they were working alongside other food vendors (who are also pheonomenal – the competition is fierce!). Rich Boy Po’Boy easily met the demands of every hungry guest, and became instantly popular with our student body. The reason for their success is two-fold: awesome food, and awesome service! Their food, which comprised a fixed menu that focused on chicken and shrimp baskets, was seriously delicious. The shrimp are fresh and best-quality, which isn’t always the case even in decent local eateries. Pricing is super fair, and Fiona is a true pro in being responsive and prompt to our questions or requests.

Tonight at NetBar, I was expecting your typical taco food truck, but was pleasantly surprised to see a po-boy option instead. My standards are pretty high in regards to seafood, having worked at Pappas Seafood and Pappadeaux for a fair share of time, and I was very impressed with their spicy version of their catfish po-boy. I’m not big of catfish, because it’s hard to do right, but these guys know what they’re doing and was beyond impressed with their food!

Jason does a fabulous job and makes the most delicious food. I couldn’t imagine passing this food truck up and eating somewhere else. You’d be a fool not to try.
