I’ve been going to this place for years and honestly it’s a hit or a miss. The food is mediocre, but for the price I can’t complain. Rice palace gives quite the generous amount of food. But the quality of the food… that’s another thing . The chicken, sometimes you can get a bad piece and it’ll taste like expired yogurt. Other times it’s not terrible . The service is pretty good though, tends to be quick and straight forward 🙂

Food and service are excellent. There is a wait time because they make all dishes as they are ordered. Heavy traffic times can add to this. The food is worth it. Staff were super friendly and very helpful as we asked for extra napkins and plates. Highly recommend steam rolls, egg rolls, and Basil Fried Rice with Shrimp.

Absolutely delicious food. I do wish the pho had more meat but still it was great. Highly recommend the pad thai. They ended up forgetting to bring out of our meals, but we took it to go and the waitress was kind enough to wrap it up for us. Will definitely go back!

Im glad Eau Claire has this family owned restaurant in their community. We ordered Laos papaya salad, steamed rolls, and their specialty deep fried fish dish with a small side of sticky rice. We enjoyed all of them! Really liked their papaya salad. The steamed rolls were great size (5 rolls). We cant wait to go back when we pass through Eau Claire again!
One thing to improve would be their ordering process. Please have printed copies of your menu around. It is hard to just read your big posters of menu next to the cashier station. This was my least part of the experience.

I decided to try this place for the $7.50 pad Thai Wednesday special, I also got some chicken egg rolls. I was very disappointed with the pad Thai. The quality was not on par with other places in Eau Claire, the noodles wern’t typical pad Thai noodles, they were overcooked, the beef didn’t have flavor, and overall the dish did not have a very good flavor. The eggrolls were very good, not the best in EC but they were very solid. The pad Thai was a 5/10 and egrolls were an 8/10. Overall I’d give it a 6.5/10.

Order for take out only at the moment…food was ready on time hot and fresh as usual. My kids love the fried rice and egg rolls. Definitely one of my favorite places to stop by when I’m in town.

Fantastic Thai food. I had the curried rice noodles and went with the spicy option. Spicy was spicy, so be prepared if you have a typical Midwestern palate. I thought it was very good. Large portions so come hungry but they also have to go boxes if you would prefer to take some home for later.

I would give this place 100000/10 if I could. My mouth is literally drooling as I’m waiting for my food. The staff is so incredibly kind and helpful. The food is fresh and just makes you feel so good. This place will be my death row meal if it comes to it

Spring rolls are amazing. Excellent chicken pho. Large portions. Lots of extras (jalapeños, bean sprouts, fresh basil). Service can be hit and miss, but it’s also nice to support a locally owned restaurant, and you can see how hard the staff works.
The spiciness level is very understated (so if you like spicy food, ask for it very hot), but their hot sauce does have some punch.
