The staff were so sweet, and the food was good. My pasta with garlic sauce had tons of meat in it, which was awesome. Also tried the pesto, it was good. Plus it’s only 5 minutes from my house, so I’ll definitely be back!

Ordered an extra cheese pizza , light on sauce and well done. The pizza probably has 2 pounds of sauce and cheese , inedible. Extra cheese does not mean all the cheese in your restaurant. Will never return

I’ll keep it brief. I’m from Pennsylvania, I live here in New Bedford. For my birthday I wanted an Italian hoagie, had a long day and what was waiting for me at the end of it was one slice of ham, one slice of salami. Green peppers instead of banana peppers or a pepper relish. Was frustrating, I’ll find another place for sandwiches in town.

THE SERVICE

The employee answering the telephone gave a friendly greeting before stating “please hold”. The telephone was then plopped down emitting a screeching noise followed by amplified conversations, and the natural bustling of a restaurant.

I was “on hold” for approximately 2 minutes which isn’t an issue if ordering during peek times. However, utilizing an actual hold button would be helpful as it’s quite obnoxious hearing kitchen staff shouting, and patrons conversing at checkout discussing discrepancies with their order. Although I doubt I was placed on speakerphone, that’s exactly what it sounded like.

If you have access to order online- I would recommend doing so.

The pickup experience is best categorized as organized chaos. The employees working the counter were friendly once your turn for service arrived. My order was ready at the designated time and packaged very well.

THE FOOD

The parmesan garlic, pesto, and tomato Italian Crostini was very tasty- the standout bite. Perfect balance of flavors and texture.

The lasagna with meat sauce and extra cheese was fine. An acceptable meal with no particular standout flavors, but satisfactory nonetheless.

THE VALUE

Good value for the price and quantity of food. My order was more than sufficient for two meals.

One of the most disappointing meals I’ve had in recent years. The chicken Alfredo was too watery and the pasta was undercooked. The pizza was overcooked on the crust, the pineapple was from a can, and the chicken on it was extremely dry. The baked ziti tasted of a smokey oven and the past was burnt on the edges. The manicotti was burnt on the edges to the point of being crunchy. The filling was good. I had ordered a salad as an appetizer. The salad itself was fine, other than the metric ton of cheese put on it. The worst part was it wasn’t Parmesan cheese on the salad. The salad dressing had separated in the bottle, and not in a normal way. If this is the best Italian food nearby, I urge you to travel to the North End and try what these dishes are supposed to taste like.

Excellent food combined with excellent service and a nice quiet atmosphere. The meal starts off with warm and tasty bread. We ordered an antipasto salad as an appetizer and it was excellent. Large portion with plenty of fresh ingredients. My wife ordered the Chicken Pesto Pizza and I ordered the Lasagna with Italian sausages. My wife enjoyed her pizza and I enjoyed my generous and tasty lasagna. The sauce was plentiful and flavorful, with the pasta cooked to perfection. The Italian sausages were also great. Back again and my wife ordered the Guilt Free Pizza and I went with Lasagna and Italian Sausage plus and side Garden Salad. All of it was excellent. The pizza had a crispy crust covered with lots of fresh vegetables. My Lasagna was perfectly cooked and absolutely smothered with a rich tasty sauce. The sausages were super tasty and well cooked. The Garden Salad was covered with fresh cheese and loaded with fresh ingredients. Lisa gave us All Star service. It is a definitely a place for a couple to enjoy a nice meal together.

While on vacation on the east coast, we stayed in New Bedford and was told this place was amazing. If you love thin pizza, pleasant servers, good customer service you have to stop at this Italian restaurant. The food was amazing I am a picky eater and they get a 10 from me for everything! These servers were working their tails off and all I heard was good service. I work in retail and this was an amazing experience! Hats off to Riccardi’s

We ordered from here for our daughter’s engagement party last week for 70 people and the food was absolutely amazing!! Guests were raving and many many take home containers were given out. We got meatballs, chicken broccoli ziti, chicken parm , baked ziti casserole, antipasto and even the garlic bread was phenomenal!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have been visiting Riccardi’s for years, eat in, take out and catering. We decided to go for lunch, my mom is in a wheelchair, they have a removable ramp at the entrance which is great. Upon entering the first dining room was full so we sat in the 2nd dining room..fine with us. The service at first was slow and not the most friendliest, as there was only one waitress working. They definitely need help. Once the food arrived the service was much better. The food was delicious as always. We ordered baked ziti, lasagna and meatball sub. They do have great lunch options at a reasonable price. Will definitely keep visiting and hopefully they will have more than one waitress.
