Our first time and, to be honest, we weren’t sure about this restaurant from the outside. However, the inside was nice and the lunch specials were delicious. Husband ordered ribs that he said were very good. I got the Lunch Platter Beef Brisket that came with a special horseradish-type sauce on the side that was very good. Great food and service. Wish we had a Rib City where we live.

Service was good and food was standard bbq! We enjoyed the 2 meat combo and I got the sausage and ribs. Both were on the well done side of things and on the smaller side of the spectrum. Sides were good and provided a nice addition to the meal. To our surprise we were offered free dessert with our meal and that added a few smiles to our table and our service. Manager stopped by after and suggested we try the brisket next time and it was like candy is what he said. Standard BBQ interior and tables and in a strip mall so that it what you get.

Went there on 6-22 and waited 3 minutes at the front for someone to come seat us because there was nobody up fromt. The host was on his cell phone then came up and apologized for taking a personal phone call. I was not impressed. The food was good and the bathrooms were clean. The service was mediocre as the server was not as attentive as she should of been. I had already eaten half my food before I was checked on and the restaurant was not busy @330pm. As a waiter myself I check on patrons after 2 bites of food. My experience was half good and half bad.

They were good ribs. Cooked just right and they have a decent variety of barbecue sauces. The hot is HOT! The others have great flavor. Coleslaw was good as was the trxas toast. The mac and cheese was good too! We will eat their food again!

I haven’t lived in grand junction in ten years yet here I am googling rib city in the middle of the night craving those sweet ribs. I credit rib city with my love of authentic smoked barbecue. Simply put the food here beats any other bbq around by miles, especially the large soulless corporate chains. I still can’t find sauces as good as their sweet and spicy, mustard, or hell buffalo ranch. A great humble place that lets it’s product speak for itself.

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner last night and WOW what a wonderful experience. The staff was courteous and friendly. We got our food promptly and everything tasted so amazing. Lizzie waited on our table and she did An amazing job. Our drinks were taken care of right away and filled when we finished. No waiting around for service. Over all just a wonderful experience. I wish I could give more than five stars. I’m so thankful we have restaurants like this here. But everyone MUST try the snicker doodle cheesecake You will not regret it. Sssooo GggooOOOdddd.
