Great experience, great service! We sat on the second floor and it was beautiful up there! The server was lovely and attentive. We got the French onion soup (amazing), Brussels sprouts (cooked to perfection, perfect crunch and seasonings), Caesar salad (perfect amount of dressing), and their Mac and cheese (we wish it was baked a bit more but still good). Definitely recommend.

Walked in with a group of 6 to get a few rounds of drinks before we went our separate ways. A few other bars we went to were packed so we ended up passing this place and stopping in because there were a ton of tables open. When we walked in, there were a total of 5 customers. We asked if he could sit for 6 for some drinks, and they refused to let us sit and has us all huddle around a tiny standing table that barely fit 6 drinks. We left about 40 minutes later, and in that time, 2 additional customers came in. I understand keeping the tables open if you are busy, but that place was a ghost town the entire night. I watched one pizza and one burger get made in the 40 minutes we were there. Frankly, we were likely going to share 2 apps, but chose not to when we weren’t allowed to sit.

Mixed drinks were okay. Dive bar quality, priced like normal Philly prices.

Overall, way too many places in the areas with better drinks and hospitality to go to. I won’t go back, and judging by the fact they were the only dead bar in Philly on Friday night (730pm) during restaurant week tells me I’m not the only one that has this feeling…

Our bartender Felix was the best! Entire staff was attentive and made our happy hour stop great. Charming atmosphere and very nice upstairs bar and rooftop seating.

Great food and casual atmosphere for a night out to eat. The tuna tartar had fresh flavor.

Not a great place to grab a meal if you’re in a rush but it’s good enough. Service is SLOW but they do top off your water when other guests are complaining about absolutely nothing. The server handled it perfectly. The “3 for thirty” deal I’d recommend sharing because it’s too much for one person but it’s delicious. Pop in for the cheesesteak, chicken sandwich or ravioli! Or treat yourself to a dessert!!

We had a wonderful dinner here for new year’s eve. We’ve ate at countless places in bucks over the last year (big foodies) and we must say that this was one of the best dining experience we’ve had. The Béarnaise sauce was absolutely perfect. The service was authentic & pleasant. We will definitely be back. Thank you and happy new year!

Waiting over an hour for burnt pizza is unacceptable. And I know I wasn’t the only one because you can hear others complaining. While the server was willing to make it right how can she if the cooks don’t care and the oven itself is not properly cleaned. I was not willing to wait another hour for pizza. Loved the atmosphere though. There’s room for improvement if the owners care to step in and make it right

The waitress made the whole experience uncomfortable. She kept repeatedly asking if we were ready to pay the bill, even before clearing our plates or actually finishing our service. It felt like she was rushing us out the entire time instead of making us feel welcome.

On top of that, their menu barely reflects what they show on Instagram, which feels misleading and disappointing.

Overall, this place seriously needs improvement — both in customer service and in real menu options. Definitely not the experience we were expecting.

I tried to call just now but your phone isn’t working First I want to say this was not our first time at Revolution House, AND THIS WAS NOT THE SERVER’S FAULT. Myself a friend, our wives and our two year old kids came in after a long day of walking around to get some food and drinks before getting on the train. We were seated by a less than friendly host, but sat quickly so that’s not a huge deal. We were sat at the middle table upstairs, where right away we all commented how hot i was as the hung space heaters were way too high. Eventually I asked the bartender to please turn them down as they were directly pointed on us from both sides. That’s when the actual problem started and we noticed the restaurant filling up, but only one sever and one bartender on that floor, we should have left, if it was just my friend and I we would have. We ordered 3 drinks, a wedge salad, fries and ice cream for the kids, and told the server we would put more food in as the wives needed more time. Now the room was all full, as veterans of the restaurant business, we saw into the future, and talked about getting up and leaving, but due to time constraints, and the fact that we had ordered we stayed. 30 minutes or so the food came to the table, a very sad wedge salad, old room temp fries, and a bowl of ice cream that melted quick, because ya know the heaters. When the server was actually able to get back to the table, after we had to get up to ask for silverware, never got the share plates we asked for, we asked “what’s going on with our drinks, are any of them ready?’ she said “I see the vesper” mind you we are well over 30 minutes after ordering. We had already told our wives that we couldn’t order more food as it would make us late for or trains for sure as it was crystal clear they were under staffed, obviously they were disappointed as they were hungry. So we cancelled the other 2 drinks, when the vesper came to the table obviously after 30 plus minutes it had died on the mat, room temp. We asked for the check for the things we got, still tipped 20% as the server was handling things and keeping calm much more than I would have. As I said we had to make trains so I couldn’t ask to speak to anyone, plus we had the kids, but in my opinion this was a failure in management. Oh and we over heard that it was the first night some folks were using handhelds, on a Saturday????? That’s just wild to do to a staff. Oh I will say the graham cracker liquid ice cream was actually pretty tasty. We walked out, I felt ripped off, and nobody was happy anymore. Just bad, only saving grace was us seeing the issues early what was going on and not ordering full meals, as we would have had to waiut 2 hours for the next trains for sure

We stayed on 113 Cuthbert street in an Airbnb that was a short walking distance from Market street and this restaurant. My goddaughter and I ordered hamburgers and my friend, her mom ordered the tacos. The burgers were very good but the fries were overcooked and greasy which means the grease was old. Never understood why people charge so much for food but try to cut corners when serving it.
Our sever was nice but not very friendly. We didn’t feel valued as customers. They have nice patio seating.
There are plenty of restaurants with much better service and food like Royal Boucherie which on sane street. I highly recommend going there because they have better selection and service and the food is absolutely delicious!!!
