Not sure when the change happened but we had stopped going here quite awhile ago. More recently gave it another shot (its the closest restaurant to us) and were pleasantly surprised. Went back a couple of additional times and continue to be impressed. Foods MUCH better than it used to be and the service is good. We will keep coming back. Fyi – if you go for breakfast, try the chicken and waffles. For lunch or dinner the BLT is great as is the hot chicken sandwich, and the burgers are tasty (no more proprietary blend of beef – YEAH)! Great local spot!

I love this place. Truly. BUT we need to talk about the tragic loss of the beer battered fries.
Those fries were elite. Iconic. Main-character energy. Crispy, golden, perfect in ways science still can’t explain. I have not known peace since they disappeared.
The waffle fries are fine. They didn’t do anything wrong. But let’s be honest — they will never be those fries. This is not a lateral move. This is a downgrade.
Please. I am begging. For the culture. For the people. For my happiness. Bring back the beer battered fries so we can all heal and move forward.

The service was great!
However the food was not very impressive. The burger patties they use tasted and had texture like something from grandma’s freezer that was a Costco buy 5 years ago.

If you’re anywhere near Stanwood, Lake Goodwin or just the Pacific Northwest, pay this place a visit. The menu is large and the food is excellent. Friendly waitstaff, great music playing but not too loud to have a conversation. TVs everywhere for the sports enthusiast. They don’t skimp on the portions. The picture below is my BBQ chicken wrap, my wife’s French dip and waffle fries leftovers and I’m not a guy who doesn’t finish his food!

Laidback fun lake house vibes kind of atmosphere. Customer service was friendly & excellent. Full bar with a good selection of draft beers, also plenty of bottle & can choices. The food was fast, fresh & exceptional with generous portions. I had the smothered + covered = Loaded potatoes & a side of bacon, it was absolutely everything I wanted it to be. My fiancée had the strawberry french toast, eggs over medium & ham, he was a very happy man. We’ll definitely be back!!

A neighborhood pub with excellent burgers, nice people, sports on lots of TVs. I sometimes stop there for lunch after playing disc golf down the road. I can’t tell you about evenings or big game days, but have always enjoyed my lunches there.
