It was our 1st time here and the service was great.. We had the 3 Mac n cheese, silver city & margherita pizza, plus we tried a dish with some of the best pulled pork we’ve had.. everything we had was amazing we cleaned out plates! Will have to come again when we are in town.

Staying I n Silver City for a few days for some hiking in the Gilas and came by for dinner. Service was great and it was nice to find a restaurant here with interesting dishes. My wife had the lamb ragu pasta and I had the braised pork shoulder. Both were really good.

Third time here and we always enjoy it. The back patio is very nice and backs up to pinos altos creek. Creates a very nice atmosphere. The food was delicious as always and the staff were super friendly. First time trying the sourdough and really enjoyed it with the artichoke dip. Will happily be back for more.

Nouvelle cuisine in Western New Mexico looks like this. I had cioppino which is a spicy fish stew, a bit too spicy for my taste so I had a Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar to equalize my taste buds. My partner has fish tacos inexpicably listed at Market Price. We are used to eating fish tacos off a food truck in El Paso so I think Market Price us pretty pretentious. Still the tacos were tasty if overly spicy. Fortunately we also ordered a bread selection which was a perfect antidote. Revel strives to cook with local produce so they extra points for that, and the warm, art filled space made for a romantic evening topped off with a delightful carrot cake cheesecake.

Ooh wowza! The brunch here is surprisingly creative and good overall, not just for Silver City. I had the green chile biscuits and gravy. The gravy had a cheesy and savory nature, well complimented with the New Mexican green chile.

Expectations were high, reality was flat. Hostess was distant and snooty, waitress, insincere. But most disappointing was the food. At first I described it as “subtle flavoring” but quickly realized it was just bland. Supposedly the pasta had herby pesto and fennel and pine nuts? I tasted olive oil. I’ve never sent an order back before. It was an awful experience. After informing the waitress of my dissatisfaction, she avoided us like the plague and had the hostess handle it. She offered a salt shaker. When I told her it wasn’t a factor of salt, it was the other flavors which were apparently supposed to be present which were missing, she had the kitchen remake the meal. It came back exactly the same, except saltier. And on top of that, she brought me salt and pepper shakers. It was actually insulting. I ate a few bites to assess the flavoring and left the plate on the table. The hostess “made right” by inserting a small discount. I left hungry and felt like “complainer girl”.
